Colin's vision turned dark, and his body fell backwards amidst a splash of blood...
A pair of hands caught the falling Colin.
"Ha... It seems... still not enough."
Colin tilted his head slightly, and after seeing Shana, he spoke with a hint of helplessness.
"It's okay,"
Shana shook her head, and as their eyes met, she revealed an angelic smile.
She reached out to wipe the blood from Colin's face and tried her best to contain the injuries inside his body. Then, as Shana was about to say something, she saw Colin slowly raise his hand and pass over a spherical orb of light.
Rings of light radiated from the orb.
Emanating from it was an extremely terrifying power...
"I never had the chance to give you anything, but now I finally do. This is a gift for you, a trait I just acquired," Colin said hoarsely, lying in her arms.
"Thank you," Shana accepted the thing.
The trait, containing a portion of "Authority," was absorbed into her being as soon as it was obtained.
