An invisible engine noise roared beside his ears, flames surged over Colin's body as he watched ahead with a grave expression.
Six or seven incandescent light shadows, unable to move within the frozen time.
The reason he sensed six or seven, rather than an exact number, was that these clones from the "Light Chaser" were some visible, and some invisible.
However, Colin hesitated not, his revolver firing ceaselessly.
One shot each, he shattered all the light shadows, including the invisible one...
Yet, the dreamscape did not dissolve.
"It seems I haven't successfully pinned down the main body, tough fight," Colin sighed, and at that moment, he heard a ticking countdown nearby.
When the stasis of time ended, he saw, outside the range of the effect, a large group of Saintesses quietly observing him, simply impossible to kill.
This sight made Colin's scalp tingle slightly.
