"Not coming out yet? Are you planning to spend New Year's in there?"
Colin retracted his foot and asked the dazed Tang Ken inside.
The protection on the first basement level was far inferior to that on the third basement level. If it were the third basement level, he'd have to find a key unless he chose to release himself.
But the bars on the first basement level were too thin; a single kick was all it took to solve the problem.
During this process, the three guards didn't step forward; they just held their daggers from a distance and remained on alert.
"It's no surprise they are trained by that old slick Warden."
Colin wasn't surprised at all and listened to the sound of footsteps coming from other parts of the dungeon. Before the group could assemble, he had already left the dungeon with Tang Ken.
Soon after, in a secluded grove, Tang Ken followed at Colin's side, his face still carrying a look of disbelief.
"We just escaped like that?"
