He just wasn't clear on how the other party could upgrade the flame directly through a piece of paper.
He remembered that to upgrade this thing, shouldn't one need to submit a bunch of containment subjects, as well as points and the like?

Colin pursed his lips, then took a closer look at this "Bonfire Sacrificial Site" and quickly became disappointed to find that this bonfire seemed not to produce "eggs", that is, it wouldn't yield things like "Colorless Crystals".
Not only that, it lacked functions such as enchantment and had only some characteristics that didn't mean much to him...
