The sound of a headless, burning corpse hitting the ground momentarily brought Tao Tie back to reality. Staring at the soft, boneless body writhing on the ground like a mollusk, he realized what Colin had meant.
"You mean something invaded and imitated or replaced him?"
"If nothing's gone wrong, then it should be correct."
Colin nodded, took a deep breath, and was fairly certain that there were several independently moving individuals aboard the submarine.
At that moment, the voice of the Nano Intellectual Mechanism Maid resounded in his ear:
"Mr. Colin, I have detected that parts of the submarine have been drilled with tiny breaches. We have now confirmed our departure from the danger zone. Should we prioritize stopping and repairing the submarine's hull?"
Could it be that they drilled in through these breaches? But these chunks of rock actually punctured the submarine; do the monsters here have some kind of critical hit bonus against the submarine?
