'Lying in my own bed really is the most reliable...' he reflected inwardly. But just then, a strange smell wafted into his nose, and his expression changed instantly. He sprang out of bed, hurried to the living room window, and pushed it open.
As expected, there was a pile of bird droppings beside the window...
"Damned pigeon!" he exclaimed.
Colin took a deep breath. If only he hadn't fed it millet back then, it wouldn't have started coming to his place every day, not to mention waking him up early in the morning and pooping daily.
However, it was at this point that he noticed something round on the air conditioner unit by the window—
A pigeon egg?
The slick pigeon egg lay on the air conditioner unit, and if not for the two sticks, appearing out of nowhere, propping it up, the egg probably would have fallen off the building by now.
"Heh, it sure knows where to lay its eggs," he said.
