Everywhere lay decayed and shattered; plants extinct and devoid of life, the "survivors" mentioned on the parchment were nowhere to be seen.
However, after walking a distance further, they suddenly stopped...
"Fuck, what is this thing?"
Upon hearing the exclamation, Colin turned his head following his gaze and saw, on the ground not too far away, a pair of enormous handprints that looked as though something had fallen from above and left them behind.
Looking up, he indeed saw a huge hole in the building next to the handprints.
In his mind, Colin simulated the scene at the time, thinking that perhaps some gigantic creature had jumped from there, then landed on the road with both hands, smashing a big pit, and then slowly walked towards the distance...
Was this the "Twilight's Child" that caused this area to be lifeless?
Colin was secretly shocked and glanced at the others' faces, finding they too seemed thoughtful, clearly sharing a similar guess.
