Annan and Nigel shared the same destination.
After arriving at Noah's Royal Capital, Annan summoned a team of players to follow Nigel.
This was partly for his protection and partly for surveillance.
Once Annan returned from Heath Tower of Black, he would take Nigel with him to meet with the Silver Baron. Of course... now that he was here, it was only proper to meet Kafney as well.
Nigel was well aware of this.
He didn't know that it was the body of the "Charioteer," but he roughly guessed the significance of the matter and understood the level of incident he was involved in.
Therefore, Nigel didn't resist Annan's proposal for surveillance at all.
Instead, he treated the players with great courtesy... even respectfully.
"My safety is in your hands," he said politely and earnestly.
The wandering child nodded solemnly, "Leave it to us."
