"...Is anyone there?"
While gently pushing open the grand doors, Si Anke shouted into the interior, "May I come in?"
But there was no response.
From the outside, the house was immense, yet so plain it was almost abstract. When Si Anke opened the door, the inside appeared so huge and real.
If one had to describe it...
It was as if a country gentleman's house had been expanded three or four times over.
It looked like the dwelling of a giant.
Si Anke cautiously entered the porch.
The floor was made of deep red wooden planks, creaking with every step taken upon them.
The lighting inside the room was dim.
The source of light was not green fire, but crystal chandeliers made by light ants. The ceiling was pitch black, and the room wasn't very bright—it was like a low-luminance "bedside lamp."
The corridor by the front door alone was dozens of meters long.
As Si Anke slowly strolled to the end of it, step by step, he saw a living room.
