Salvatore frowned, clamped the freshly lit cigar between his lips, and flipped through the paper just handed to him with utmost seriousness.
He had never been one to smoke before.
Plagued by the Curse Binding of "Reflection of the Sleepless and Tireless," Salvatore was forced to stay awake every night and could only sleep at three in the morning. He could manage no more than six hours of sleep a day, living on the verge of sudden death.
Whether it was smoking or drinking, he hardly dared to indulge. As for stimulants and other transformative products, he only dared to use those with lesser side effects, ones that had stronger restorative benefits for the body.
After all, he couldn't catch up on his sleep.
This was Salvatore's greatest issue.
The difference now was that he had successfully advanced to become an alchemist.
