The hotel where Fang Bai stayed was a seaside hotel with a view of the ocean; at night, opening the window of his room and facing the sea, he could enjoy the enchanting night scene. A warm sea breeze blew from the ocean, refreshing the mind and uplifting the spirit.
After having some food in the hotel restaurant and returning to his room, Fang Bai went out to the balcony, sat down cross-legged, and began to circulate his cultivation technique, drawing in the Water Element Qi and Wind Essence Qi from the sea, as well as the Fire Primordial Qi.
The Water Element Qi and the Wind Essence Qi both came from above the sea surface; however, the Fire Primordial Qi was from Hawaii Island.
Before coming to Hawaii, Fang Bai had learned about this beautiful archipelago and knew that the volcano about to erupt was called Mauna Loa, the largest active volcano on the islands.
