Dong—
Dong—
Dong—
Just as the two figures had concealed themselves, the Shaolin warning bell, quiet for a hundred years, sounded again. The deep and distant tolling echoed through the mountains within a ten-mile radius, startling flocks of birds into flight.
Amidst the sound of the bell, hundreds of martial monks rushed out from their respective pavilions, courtyards, and halls—some bare-handed, some wielding staffs—and quickly assembled in the large courtyard in front of the Thousand Buddha Hall.
The Thousand Buddha Hall served as the training room for Shaolin monks. Around the walls inside the hall were many ancient martial arts murals for the monks to refer to during their training. It was one of the most secretive places in Shaolin, where many monks with unique abilities and fame in the Ancient Martial World had emerged.
Naturally, it was Fang Bai and Ghost Hand who had forced Shaolin to sound its century-old warning bell and gather all the temple's monks for defense.
