Elder Xia escorted Bai Xiaosheng and Lin Weiwei to the entrance of the alleyway.
"You can stop here, we can walk the rest of the way," Bai Xiaosheng said to him with a smile.
"My car is right here. Where do you want to go? I can have someone take you there," Elder Xia still insisted warmly.
"No need, we want to stroll around a bit more before heading to the station," Bai Xiaosheng tactfully declined.
Lin Weiwei also smiled, "Yeah, we prefer walking on our own, it's more comfortable. Uncle, if you drive us, it would feel like you're hurrying us to quickly leave Linshen."
With that, Elder Xia laughed heartily but did not persist.
"Well then, this is where we part. But I feel we will meet again in the not so distant future," Elder Xia said with a smile that hinted at something deeper.
Bai Xiaosheng smiled without saying a word.
