Su Lingyu led the way, with Bai Xiaosheng following behind as they took the elevator up.
Upon reaching the door, Su Lingyu fished out the keys to unlock it.
"Come in," Su Lingyu entered first, smiling at Bai Xiaosheng, and then helped him find slippers.
"Thank you," Bai Xiaosheng said politely, smiling as he changed shoes in the entryway.
"Xiaoyu, you're back, why so late? Fortunately, I stewed ribs today, and dinner was late too. Your arrival now is just in time for eating..." a gentle voice rang out.
Immediately afterward, Bai Xiaosheng saw a woman wearing an apron, walking out with a smile, her eyes and eyebrows full of affection. Listening to Su Lingyu, her mother was forty-five, but to Bai Xiaosheng, she didn't look it at all.
She kept herself in good shape, her hair thick and black, her skin fair. If someone said she wasn't even forty, people would believe it.
The moment she saw Bai Xiaosheng, the woman was taken aback.
