Shen Xi safely returned home.
Mo Shangjun strolled around the neighborhood until it was almost dinner time before returning to Chen Lu's rental place.
There were quite a few dishes left from lunch, and Chen Lu was still busy in the kitchen.
It was Shen Xi who opened the door.
"Back already?"
Mo Shangjun called out to Chen Lu in the kitchen after entering the living room.
"Yeah."
Responding casually, Mo Shangjun walked slowly to the kitchen doorway, stopped, and leaned against the door frame to watch Chen Lu, who was busy stir-frying.
Several dishes had already been prepared, such as steamed meat with rice flour, braised fish, and sweet and sour spare ribs.
Currently, he was stir-frying shredded potatoes.
"Just get seven," Mo Shangjun said lazily.
"We'll discuss it after the meal."
Chen Lu, busy with the cooking, replied without even looking up.
Mo Shangjun shrugged her shoulders, walked into the kitchen, and washed her hands.
