Before the sound fully dissipated, the surrounding people moved a step closer, cautiously eyeing her.
The motorcycle's headlight remained on, illuminating the area and the woman seated askew on it. She appeared to be in her early twenties, young and beautiful, clad in a black jacket and jeans. With a helmet in one hand, her movements were effortless and proud. The hazy halo of light revealed her elongated, luminous eyes, defiant and smiling. The disdain she casually flashed suggested she didn't take them seriously.
In that instant, no one saw her as an ordinary character.
She was certainly beautiful, but it was her innate demeanor of loftiness, the way she looked down on them like a queen from on high, and they seemed but ants.
From the first impression, there was a clear gap.
