It felt like a long, long time had passed when An Yiqing softly chuckled and extended her hand to take the wine glass.
"Second Miss Qin goes too far. We have all been young and foolish at some point, and I do not hold grudges." She swirled the glass in her hand, raising it lightly, "A toast to you first!"
As she spoke, An Yiqing slowly brought the glass to her lips, about to drain it in one gulp while looking at Qin Jia, who was visibly nervous.
Suddenly, a forceful hand firmly grasped the glass in the girl's hand.
"Tutu, let me drink it." Gu Yelin frowned and took the glass from An Yiqing's hands, clutching it tightly.
Qin Jia was startled by Gu Yelin's sudden appearance, almost losing her grip on her own glass. Seeing her plan about to be foiled right before her eyes, she naturally couldn't allow Gu Yelin to interfere with her scheme.
"Young Master Gu, you see, since my sister wants to drink, then you should just—"
"Shut up!"
