Dugu Qianye arrived at the square and saw that three tables had been placed in the middle. Now, there weren't many people coming to register anymore. When Dugu Qianye walked over, she found them all lying on the tables asleep, with one person reading a book.
She walked over, and as soon as she approached, the person put down the book, lifted a delicate face, and asked, "Here to register?"
Dugu Qianye nodded.
The person took out a form and said, "Let me see your badge."
"What badge?" Dugu Qianye asked, unaware that a badge was needed for registration.
The person's hand paused, looking at her: "You don't have a badge?"
"No," Dugu Qianye shook her head.
"You are an alchemist?"
"Yes."
"Haven't you gone to the Alchemist Guild for notarization?" the person asked, surprised.
"Notarization? No," Dugu Qianye continued to shake her head. She never knew she had to get something notarized, nor had anyone told her about it.
