Seeing Alice's apology, Qi Zhengmin responded gracefully, "It's okay, I forgive you! I hope we can both work hard together. If you dance better than me, I will give you the lead dancer role."
The implication was, if you don't dance well and can't beat me, then you won't get to be the lead.
"Thank you," Alice said gratefully, "I was wrong before, and I hope we can become friends."
"Of course!" Qi Zhengmin nodded, "My family is waiting for me outside; I have to go back now."
"Goodbye," Alice said politely.
Having completed the dance successfully and received an apology from Alice, Qi Zhengmin was in great spirits, feeling fulfilled in life.
Outside, Anna was waiting for Qi Zhengmin with a bunch of fresh flowers she took from a bodyguard at the entrance.
"Darling, you danced very well," Anna approached and hugged Qi Zhengmin, presenting her with the bouquet.
Qi Zhengmin smiled so widely that her eyes disappeared, hugging the flowers and grinning from ear to ear.
