Huo Yingjie returned to his room, closed his eyes to rest, and mulled over how he should act during the day.
After much thought, he concluded that the night would be more convenient, so the next day Huo Yingjie only went out to find more people to act as witnesses.
When Huo Zhekun came back at noon, he saw Huo Yingjie and asked, "Yingjie, have you sorted everything out on your end?"
"Not yet. The target is too obvious during the day; I plan to head over tonight," Huo Yingjie said. "This way, we can collect all the witness statements and evidence early tomorrow morning, rather than risk long nights full of dreams, inadvertently startling the snake by hitting the grass too early."
"Very good," Huo Zhekun nodded, his face showing a rare smile.
