Even time appeared to freeze.
On Ye Han Chen's forehead, scarlet blood trickled down, meandering across his entire face.
He remained motionless, propping himself above her body, his gaze cold and desolate as he watched her.
That familiar gaze clearly harbored a tumultuous undercurrent, yet it did not let her know even a bit of it.
