Seeing the little one's smile, Mu Jingxi curled his lips into a smile, bent down, and hugged her into his arms, "Stirring up trouble first thing in the morning, you little rascal."
Little Nuomi wrapped her arms around his neck, grinning from ear to ear.
Her radiant smile was even brighter than the sunshine outside the window.
Mu Jingxi lowered his head and kissed her forehead, "Uncle will take you to wash up. We'll go downstairs for breakfast in a bit."
In the dining room, Little Nuomi sat next to Mu Jingxi, holding a cup of milk in both hands and sipping it slowly.
Mu Jingxi had cut up some bacon and was feeding it to her. Little Nuomi cooperated by opening her little mouth. Her eyes twinkling suddenly as something came to mind.
"Uncle!"
"Hmm?" Mu Jingxi picked up a napkin and gently wiped the milk from the corner of her lips.
In a soft voice, Little Nuomi asked, "Where are grandpa and grandma from last night?"
