Qiao An blinked her eyes, a look of sincerity on her face, "Mu Jingxi, I swear, I never said I didn't want to see you; it was you who said that."
"Is that so?"
"Of course!" Qiao An placed one hand on her chest, "I can honestly tell you with my hand on my heart, I never said that."
"I don't believe you."
"You don't believe me; touch it!"
As soon as the words came out, Qiao An blushed, inwardly cursing and shooting him a glare.
The stared-at Mr. Mu, feeling quite innocent, lips curled in a faintly playful smile, "Miss Qiao is getting angry with me again."
"Good to know." She picked up the glass and forcefully clinked it with his, "Cheers!"
