Qiao Xiguan was not in a good mood.
But that's how people are, in many situations, one always tends to accommodate the emotions of others.
"Do you know Gui Yuan?" Gu Ziyan asked.
Qiao Xiguan forced a faint smile, "Yes, I know him."
"No wonder, that day during the blind date with Gui Yuan, he mentioned you. I guessed you two must be very good friends," Gu Ziyan said.
"Actually, it's just okay," Qiao Xiguan explained, "It was just because I had some contacts with him last time when I wanted to have some antiques appraised for Dad."
"Is that so?" Gu Ziyan seemed to feel that something was off but didn't think much of it, chuckling, "I wanted to ask you what Gui Yuan likes, but it seems you can't help me with that."
Qiao Xiguan just offered an apologetic smile.
"Never mind, since he's the man I like, I just have to work harder," Gu Ziyan said with a carefree laugh.
Qiao Xiguan nodded, "I'm going back to my room first."
"Oh."
Qiao Xiguan turned and left.
