Jing Yan appeared like an ethereal fairy exiled from the heavens, walking elegantly under the bright moonlight, floating as she stepped through the air.
"Husband, what has happened here?" she asked as she landed and glanced at Brother Hu and others lying on the ground.
"They accidentally violated the rules of this place and had their souls extracted," Li Qing shrugged and said, "I don't even know what these kids did."
Jing Yan glanced around, her gaze suddenly turning cold, and promptly checked Li Qing thoroughly, "Husband, are you alright?"
"I'm fine. I didn't even fight, just unleashed a couple of Thunder Methods and negotiated with them," Li Qing explained.
"It's good that you're unharmed. This place has become part of the Forbidden Grounds, giving birth to some peculiar consciousnesses," Jing Yan said with furrowed brows and a stern voice. "Although their current state seems somewhat feeble, there should only be one or two rules in place."
