Li Qing's tiny grocery shop seemed to pique Jing Yan's interest more and more.
She appeared to rediscover the mindset she had when she browsed through markets and depots in the past, appreciating the wares with relish and her eyes and brow relaxing.
"If this were in the past, such an item would surely be exclusive to the royals, and ordinary people would hardly ever see it," Zi Ling said in a soft voice, holding a glass teapot in her hand and admiring it. "Despite the thousands of years of changes, though everything has transformed and the people are not the same, being able to see such a grand scene leaves me with no regrets. Or rather, it feels like being reborn."
"Yan'er, eat while you look," Li Qing said with a beaming smile, handing over another pack of snacks.
Jing Yan seemed quite fond of these things; in a short while, she had already shown off several packs of snacks.
Although she ate elegantly and seemed slow, she wasn't achieving small feats.
