Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Sister-in-law Was Not Angry_1

"You'd better go out and shut off the valve outside!" Han Mei turned her head and saw Li Qing staring straight at her buttocks, which made her feel both embarrassed and angry. Instinctively, her small hand tried to cover her rear.

But how could that small hand cover up those firm and perky buttocks?

However, witnessing this scene finally snapped Li Qing out of his daze. Seeing Han Mei's angry and embarrassed demeanor, he didn't dare to overstep any further and hurriedly went out and closed the door.

He then quickly found the location of the water valve and turned it off.

Squatting on the ground, Li Qing thought about the scene he had just witnessed. It was really nice to look at!

Sister-in-law's butt was so big, so perky!

But, that was rather reckless of me.

I wonder if she'll be angry with me.

With that thought, Li Qing called out to the bathroom, "Sister-in-law, uh, take your time to tidy up. I'll head back first and take a nap, then come over later to help you pick Huang Xing."

"Alright, go back and bandage up your wound again," Han Mei's voice had regained its calm.

Li Qing limped home. The wound wasn't very deep but it covered a large area and was quite painful when he moved.

After a morning of hard work, he was also a bit hungry.

He sliced a tomato and threw in a few leaves of lettuce, making himself a simple bowl of noodles. After eating, he went to sleep.

When he woke up in a daze, he checked his phone and it was nearly four in the afternoon.

"It's already this late, Sister-in-law hasn't called me, could she be angry with me?"

Li Qing hurried out of bed, washed his face with cold water, and headed towards Han Mei's house.

The old wooden door was tightly shut. He knocked a few times, but no one answered.

However, several cardboard boxes had been removed from the courtyard. Li Qing guessed that Han Mei must have gone to Apricot Garden already.

With this in mind, Li Qing turned around and hurried towards Apricot Garden.

On his way there, he remembered Han Mei's panicked expression in the bathroom that morning, and he couldn't help but feel a wave of regret.

Sister-in-law must really be angry with me for barging into the bathroom, which is why she didn't call me to work together.

Swiftly moving along the road, Li Qing soon arrived at Apricot Garden.

At the edge of the road, there were neatly stacked seven or eight boxes filled with apricots, likely moved out by Han Mei that afternoon.

Assured that she must be there, Li Qing quickened his pace and entered the garden.

"Sister-in-law, why didn't you call me? Don't you want my help anymore?"

Li Qing found Han Mei, who was standing on a ladder picking Huang Xing, and teased her with a playful probe.

Han Mei had changed into a pure white blouse and a pair of tight jeans that afternoon.

This combination was both innocent and tempting, perfectly outlining her sultry figure.

Especially when looking from below, that round and perky bottom seemed as if it was about to burst out of the jeans, so round and full that one couldn't help but want to explore more deeply.

But because of the morning's incident, Li Qing dared not stare any longer. Reluctantly taking a couple of glances, he shifted his gaze away.

"You were injured, Sister-in-law thought you should rest more. But look at you now, still being so diligent," said Han Mei as she passed down a bamboo basket from above, "Quick, help me catch this."

Li Qing took it, feeling relieved, and cheerfully said, "I don't want to become the lazy donkey that you talk about, Sister-in-law. This little injury is nothing."

"Just keep showing off. You're not climbing the tree today. Just help me catch from below," Han Mei said with a smile.

Li Qing thought for a moment and compliantly agreed.

With his leg in its current condition, it really wasn't suitable for climbing up and down trees.

Li Qing transferred the Huang Xing from the bamboo basket into the cardboard box filled with straw and handed the basket back to Han Mei. Seizing the opportunity, he asked, "Sister-in-law, you're not… still angry with me, are you?"

Han Mei's pretty face suddenly turned cold, "You saw everything when I was undressed, how could I not be angry?"

"Ah?" Li Qing hadn't expected Han Mei to actually get angry and instantly became a bit flustered, stammering, "I didn't see everything…"

"You covered up too well, I only saw a back."

"Hmm?" Han Mei dragged out the sound, her slender eyebrows shooting up.

"…And, and a round, perky big butt," Li Qing muttered.

Han Mei plucked an apricot from the tree and hurled it at Li Qing, scolding, "You little rascal, you call that not seeing everything? What else did you want to see?"

Li Qing's droopy eyelids lifted slightly, of course, he wanted to see everything.

Even more...

But seeing how Han Mei was, he didn't dare to say it, only murmuring an explanation, "Sister-in-law, that… I really didn't mean to."

Han Mei looked at Li Qing with his pitiable, aggrieved expression and couldn't help but chuckle.

"All right, enough with the long face. You saw it, so you saw it, I know you didn't mean to," she said.

While speaking, Han Mei gave Li Qing a warning glance, "However, if you're this careless again, just wait and see how I'll deal with you."

Li Qing's face lit up with joy, and he quickly promised, "That definitely won't happen again, I was just too anxious today."

"I know you were worried about me, or did you think I'd actually be mad?" Han Mei said, rolling her eyes at him.

Li Qing nodded repeatedly.

"Alright, hurry and bring those boxes in, it's almost evening. You've been wasting the whole day with your chatter, and haven't gotten any less work done," Han Mei rambled on.

"Okay."

Li Qing didn't dally and after bringing in the empty boxes, he filled them with Huang Xings using straw for cushioning, arranged them neatly, and then sealed the boxes.

They kept busy until the sky grew dark before they finally took a break.

Li Qing looked at their harvest with a face full of satisfaction, "Sister-in-law, we should be able to get a good price for the Huang Xings this year."

"Whether we can get a good price depends on those buyers; let's hope they're not too picky," Han Mei said, a white towel draped over her neck, wiping sweat while speaking.

An afternoon's labor had left her cheeks rosy, her clothes soaked with sweat, clinging tightly to her fiery body.

The black bra was nearly visible, making Li Qing's eyes heat up.

Especially that creamy, deep cleavage, which made Li Qing's mouth water—even wanting to dive in for a bite!

Perhaps due to the darkness, Han Mei didn't notice Li Qing's gaze. She bent down to pick up a sealed box, happily announcing, "Let's go, home."

Li Qing watched her perfectly rounded rear, his breath hitching yet again.

This firm peach… if hit from behind, it would definitely make a sound, wouldn't it?

But with the morning's incident fresh in his mind, Li Qing didn't dare to tease aloud, and picking up two boxes of apricots, he followed Han Mei out of the Apricot Garden.

It took them two trips on two-wheel carts to get all the Huang Xings home.

By this time, night had completely fallen.

After arranging all the boxes, Han Mei told Li Qing, "Go wash up."

"Oh, okay." Li Qing also felt sticky all over, which was quite uncomfortable.

He filled a basin with water, stripped off his shirt, and washed his upper body in the courtyard.

Han Mei, seeing Li Qing's exceptionally robust physique, felt a slight blush creep onto her radiant cheeks.

"I only told you to wash your face, but look at you, not hesitating to show off your body right here," she said, her voice subtly unnatural as she chided him.

Li Qing, who was rubbing shampoo into his hair, laughed and responded, "If sister-in-law likes it, how about I sell it for cheap to you?"
