Lu Xingye felt he had successfully disgusted Yu Chiyin, flicking his sleeves as he left without taking a single cloud with him.
But it was Dragon Seven who suffered from the aftermath.
"Young Master, do you need your subordinate to bring the lady back?" Dragon Seven spoke up, facing the pressure.
Yu Chiyin gave him a cold look and said sinisterly, "What, are you hoping that my wife and I will argue over an outsider?"

Dragon Seven fell silent, honestly bowing his head, "The Young Master misunderstands, your subordinate wouldn't dare!"
"Get out!" commanded Yu Chiyin.
Dragon Seven, keeping his eyes downcast and mind focused, obediently retreated.
Once the door closed, the silence fell in the sickroom. Yu Chiyin turned to look out the window, thinking to himself that Lu Xingye was simply trying to sow discord.
If he got angry, that would mean he had fallen into Lu Xingye's trap.
