"Mom!" Fan Ju frowned, "You're being biased. Xiaojun and I have been married for two years now. Talking about whether or not we're a good match is really hurtful."
Mrs. Fan waved her hands dismissively and said adamantly, "The wedding was something your grandmother insisted on before she passed away. I didn't agree to it."
"You didn't agree, but you didn't refuse either!"
Fan Ju felt a headache coming on. He had been busy at the company all afternoon and just wanted some peace when he got home, not to continue arguing with Mrs. Fan.
"Forget it, have the butler chat with you. I'm going upstairs."
Having said that, Fan Ju grabbed his briefcase, turned, and headed upstairs, quickening his pace.
Mrs. Fan's face darkened as she spat out after a long moment of anger, "I didn't refuse, all for the sake of that little bastard!"
