Xie Yuan sat in his study until midnight and then carefully hid the examination report.
Returning to the room, he lay down beside Su Miaomiao and held her in his arms.

The two of them met at a dessert shop just outside Fifth Avenue, and Wan Sui looked Su Miaomiao over carefully, her worries finally easing.
"My dear baby, I'm glad you're alright; I was terrified this time."
"But, you seem to have gained a bit of weight."
Su Miaomiao pinched the soft flesh around her waist and sighed.
"Yes, I haven't eaten much these last two days, but I'm gaining weight so fast."
