Wen Zhi had been recuperating in the hospital for some days now, and although she should have been discharged earlier, Yan Xi was still concerned about her physical condition and feared some internal injuries could resurface, so he decided to observe for a few more days.
Having been in the hospital long enough to nearly grow mold, Wen Zhi pressed her lips together upon noticing that Yan Xi had yet to bring up the subject of discharge. She broke the silence, "Look at me now, I can hop and can jump around. Isn't it about time to start the discharge procedures? I shouldn't hog the bed any longer when it could be used by someone in need."
Wen Zhi added another sentence, fearing that Yan Xi might not agree.
After hearing this, Yan Xi was still a bit hesitant. He could only first consult the doctor about her condition and, upon confirmation that there were no serious issues, finally agreed to discharge her.
Once back home, Wen Zhi lay down on the sofa and let out a comfortable sigh.
