The pungent smell of disinfectant made Wen Zhi's brows furrow, as she half propped herself up on the hospital bed, looking around somewhat blankly.
Why was she in the hospital?
The pain in her head made Wen Zhi hold her head with both hands.
"Are you okay?" a gentle male voice asked from above her head.
Wen Zhi didn't respond immediately; the pain in her head left her with no energy to spare for replying.
A few minutes later, the pain had subsided somewhat.
She lowered her hands, but due to the excessive pain, her gaze couldn't help but appear somewhat scattered.
Wen Zhi stared at the figure in front of her for a long time before her eyes focused enough to see who it was.
A familiar man about her age, around six feet tall, was looking at her with concern.
"Who are you?"
"My name is Lu Chen. I'm the person who saved you. You fell into the ocean. Do you remember where you came from?" the man asked gently.
Where did she come from?
