"I still have to find time to see you, no matter how busy I am,"
"I wouldn't dare, just in case those paparazzi catch me, who knows what kind of headlines they'd come up with."
The two bantered back and forth, each one ribbing the other.
But neither of them seemed to be angry; instead, a hint of a smile played on their faces.
After a bit of teasing, Yan Xi took advantage of Lu Chen's distraction to quietly pull Wen Zhi a little further away.
"What's up?"
"I have something to show you."
Yan Xi, while taking out the object, was careful to keep an eye on Lu Chen to make sure he wasn't looking their way. Only when she was sure he wasn't, did she confidently bring out a new tie.
"This is?" Wen Zhi was somewhat curious.
Yan Xi's cheeks tinted slightly red, "This is a gift I bought for him. I thought it suited him when I saw it, but then I felt a bit shy to give it to him and have been dragging my feet until now."
Wen Zhi couldn't help but laugh at this.
