Yan Xi didn't notice the look Lu Chen gave the food stall. Instead, it was she who was drawn to the bustling and lively atmosphere.
She tugged at Lu Chen, heading towards the food stall, and said enthusiastically, "Why don't we just eat here! There's a lot of variety and it's super cheap!"
After a few steps, Yan Xi suddenly had a thought which stopped her in her tracks, and an apologetic expression appeared on her face.
"Sorry, I forgot you might mind this kind of place. Let's go find another restaurant to check out."
As she said this, she was ready to lead him away.
But suddenly, Yan Xi realized that Lu Chen wasn't following her; he just stood there, his gaze still fixed on the food stall.
"What's there to mind? We're all ordinary people. There's no need to differentiate so strictly."
Lu Chen truly didn't care. Back when he was poor, he didn't have the luxury of being picky. As long as he could fill his stomach, that was good enough.
