It was unknown how much time had passed before Su Chuyan's crying gradually subsided.

Upon hearing these words, Su Chuyan's mother stood up abruptly and pointed at her husband's nose without any courtesy, "What are you saying? Now that our daughter is in this state, you're still speaking such words. Do you really want to drive her to death?"
"Do you think it is me trying to force her? She is forcing herself. She's stubbornly persisting in her folly; even as her parents, what can we do? We certainly can't forcibly take her home and tie her up," Su Chuyan's father said with a bitter smile.
His gaze swept over Su Chuyan, then he continued, "Isn't it just a mistake? What's the big deal? Just pick yourself up again. You are the Su Family's young lady; all of us are your safety net. Making a mistake once is not a big deal; who doesn't err at some point?"
