Shen Chu'an stood in the busiest part of the mall, using the reflection off the glass to watch her back.
After taking a call, a man wearing sunglasses turned and walked away, while another woman with delicate makeup continued to follow her.
Shen Chu'an was sure she was being followed.
She walked into a cafe and, while moving forward, paid attention to the person behind her. She didn't notice a waiter carrying coffee coming her way. They collided, and both cups of steaming coffee spilled all over Shen Chu'an's clothes.
"Sorry, sorry, I didn't see you," the waiter apologized frantically, bowing repeatedly to Shen Chu'an. Two other employees quickly came over, one holding napkins and another a towel.
It was summer, and Shen Chu'an was dressed in light clothing. When the coffee splashed on her, her delicate skin immediately reddened.
