Chu Liangxia sat up straight, staring at Feng Ziheng, pronouncing each word clearly.
Unbeknownst to her, there was still a grain of rice stuck at the corner of her mouth.
Feng Ziheng looked at her and passed her a tissue.
Chu Liangxia wiped her face haphazardly.
"Let's go."
Feng Ziheng stood up.
Chu Liangxia followed suit and then went to the counter to settle the bill.
When she came out after paying, Feng Ziheng was already waiting for her at the door.
Outside, a heavy snow had fallen; Feng Ziheng stood in the snowfield, the cold wind blowing directly in his face, yet he stood unflinchingly, his back straight as an unwavering pine tree.
Chu Liangxia's heart stirred as she silently walked over to him, step by step, until she was by his side.
Then, she took his hand.
"Ziheng," Chu Liangxia called out to him softly.
"Hmm?"
