When Lu Han returned, Tang Su had saved him a bowl of shrimp and egg fried rice made by Sun Qing. It was well fried, each grain of rice separate and gleaming, plump and translucent.
Sun Qing also packed some fried rice along with freshly roasted cumin chicken wings to take away.
"Where are you going?" Lu Han asked in surprise, thinking Sun Qing would stay at Tang Su's place tonight.
"Going home, ah. If I get hungry later tonight, I'll just microwave these for a bit to heat them up and have them as a late-night snack. If I'm not hungry, they'll be breakfast tomorrow."
"Not staying the night?" Lu Han raised an eyebrow.
With a speechless look, Sun Qing choked out, "Doctor Lu, may I interview you for a moment? Do you really hope I would stay? Your second brother has already left, and with one corner gone, this stable structure of four corners is now a shaky tripod, which is only stable at certain times."
"Most times, it's just annoying to others."
