Tomorrow is the weekend, and Tang Su's visiting hours end at eight o'clock.
Wu Donglin still hadn't had his fill and wanted to keep Tang Su around a bit longer, but with surgery scheduled for tomorrow, he had to stay at the hospital tonight no matter what. Being on someone else's turf naturally meant playing by their rules.
Tang Su wanted to go back on her own, but Wu Donglin was worried and insisted on having Wu Jie escort her.
Wu Jie was also planning to return to his own place, as he wasn't going to stay up late tonight and would come over early tomorrow.
Even though Doctor Lu had stressed repeatedly that it wasn't a major operation, it was still surgery after all, and so Wu Jie, being an outsider, was quite worried and took tomorrow's surgery very seriously.
As Tang Su entered the elevator, she left Wu Jie behind and sent a message to Lu Han, "Doctor Lu, have you returned?"
By the time she left the hospital, Tang Su had not yet received a reply from Lu Han.
