Tang Su and Lu Han strolled through two streets before choosing that handmade noodle burger joint, ordering one hundred burgers and a hundred cups of cola, which were to be delivered to the bookstore for the first hundred customers who came in to shop the next day.
The amount of consumption didn't matter; they could just buy one book and still qualify.
They also ordered ten extra to serve as snacks for the staff meal.
"Do you need me to help out tomorrow? I can switch shifts," Lu Han offered.
"No need, we have enough hands on deck, don't worry. I have experience, it's just that tomorrow might be a bit hectic. If you send me a message or something, I might not be able to reply in time."
"That's okay, I'll take care of the logistics tomorrow and ensure I absolutely won't cause you any trouble."
"Thank you, Doctor Lu, then let me treat you to a movie."
"Sure."
