"Is there something wrong at home?" Lu Han asked directly. He did not reach out to pull Tang Su, since she did not wish to be touched, he did not want to force her.
For a fleeting moment, Tang Su wanted to rush at Lu Han and demand whether his father was truly Chen Shimei or not.
But after calming down, she knew that such a question was inappropriate.
Lu Han was as important to her as her parents were; she did not wish to harm her parents any more than she wanted to harm Lu Han.
Tang Su shook her head, "No, it's just that my grandmother was hospitalized, and my mom was up all night. I feel like I can't help at all, which makes me feel somewhat guilty. Plus, I didn't sleep well last night, but really, it's nothing serious."
By the end of her explanation, Tang Su managed a small, pursed-lip smile.
She hoped to reassure Lu Han with her smile that it was truly nothing more than a lack of sleep, that there was nothing else amiss.
