"In the end i don't really have much of a choice"
Arthur caught himself staring at the shop in front of him, a shop that focuses on selling Mana Weapons for marshals to aid in their fights and it's located at the center of Gazer Plaza. A place that caters the needs of every marshals for their journey and missions.
"I might as well give it a try, there's no harm in taking a look after all"
Arthur said to himself as he walked straight into the shop, what greeted him was the scene of various weapons glistening across the shelves and showcases.
"Welcome esteemed customer, how can i be of service to you today?
Paul, who is the shop keeper greeted him with full of smiles while clasping his hands.
"Ohh hello, yes i'm looking for a suitable weapon for me. Preferably a dagger type weapon that suits a beginner, moreover about the cost give me something that is affordable.
Said embarrassedly by Arthur, currently he only managed to prepare around 10,000 silver coins even after deciding to take out a loan. The average income of a family with 1 Novice marshal presiding over them is only around 1000 silver coins per month as the income still depends on what kind of ranking you have, those of normal families can only get a few hundred or so silver coins even after working really hard.
[The currencies that is used in the sanctuary are silver, gold, and different grades of crystals. The exchange rate for each of them starting with silver is, 1000 silver coins is equivalent to 1 gold coin, and 100 gold coins is equivalent to 1 low-end crystal. Subsequent currency will be introduced when coming in contact with it.]
"Would that be all customer?" Asked Paul.
"Yes that's about it" Arthur responded and nods back at the shop keeper.
As a proper business owner, paul is very passionate about his work. He is someone who doesn't discriminate between the poor and also doesn't favor the rich, in his eyes all customers are equal depending on their needs that are suited for their income.
Paul seemed to have thought of something perfect that aligns with the request of Arthur.
"Just a moment, I'll go get it for you"
Paul came back in a flash while holding something that is covered by a cloth full of dust, it seems to have been sitting in a inconspicuous corner somewhere in the shop for years already! Paul removed the cloth that is covering a small very old looking box, he opens it with some slight hesitation.
What unfolded within it was a black dagger with some very mysterious carvings that is embedded in it's blade.
"Here it is customer, I'll sell this to you for a very affordable price" Paul became a bit nervous after saying that.
"Surely there has to be a catch, there's no way you'll sell it cheap to me while you don't get any profits"
Arthur seems suspicious of this antique of an item, who knows it might even break in the middle of a fight. Talk about being unreliable right?
"Sigh, It's like this customer as no one wanted to buy this dagger or be in contact with it anymore it has been left into the dust throughout the years because rumors says that all of it's previous owners have been met with misfortunes while using this weapon, they labeled this as a Cursed Weapon"
"I'll leave the choice to you customer if you still want to buy this weapon even after hearing me say all those things." Said by paul with great difficulty.
"Huh, but the information on the screen above the item says it's a unique rank dagger called "Dagger of Misfit" Arthur was puzzled by the words of paul, it seems like this dagger is not really that simple.
Description: Misfortune may befall to those who are not fated to use it, there are certain conditions that you have to fulfill first before you can use this item to it's fullest without worrying about any misfortunes befalling unto you.
Special Effects: After slashing an enemy, there is a certain chance for it to deal debuffs towards the enemy with Bleeding, Blindness, Organ Failure, and etc.
Arthur was shocked at how op this item is, it's exactly like the feeling of winning a lotto! being struck by gold right into your very soul.
"Are you sure you want to sell this item to me? No take backs okay!"
