"Icicle lance!" Glacier shoots out hundreds of icicles at Yang who swats them away with his fan.
"Come on take this seriously you're boring me." Yang says shaking his head only to get hit by an icicle to the neck and chest.
"Oh now you've done it. Phase of light spell of reverse sense forward thought." Yang dashes forward and brings his fan down onto Glacier's left arm. Glacier attempts to block only to have his right arm get slashed and bleeding.
"Cheap trick reversing my senses Yang." Glacier grits his teeth as he stops the bleeding though muscle control.
Yang tackles Glacier throwing him into a wall before delivering 5 jabs to the chest with his fan causing more bleeding.
"There is no cheap cowards would do this without caring now stand and come at me seriously." Yang says taunting Glacier.
"Very well but don't cry when you lose."
Glacier rushes in bringing his left sword down onto Yang who blocks it with his left arm although blocking it he still gets a small cut from it.
"You've injured me but don't think that means victory!" Yang grabs Glacier's left arm twisting it and cuts deeply into the muscles.
"I hope you don't give up now because this fight is now as good as over." Yang goes to bring his fan down on Glacier but gets shocked as he gets impaled over a 100 times sending him flying into the wall.
"What for a moment I lost sight of him and felt consecutive jabs at my chest did he grow faster all of a sudden?" Yang gets up looking at Glacier carefully watching his movements.
"You rendered my left arm useless well seems like you made a mistake." Glacier lunges forward slicing at Yang's chest before he jumps back and Glacier gives chase.
"Want to explain where this burst of speed come from because even we didn't know of this." Yang clashes with Glacier's sword, sparks flying out.
"If you must know I took the liberty of training my body very carefully so that should a limb or two somehow looses its functionality then I can make up for the loss of power with an increase of speed or strength my left arm and leg are trained in strength my right arm and leg in agility and speed. When you made my left arm immobile my right arm's true ability is unleashed so tell me can you keep up with this speed?" Glacier leaps back and jumps off the walls striking at Yang over and over slowly building up the amount of injuries.
"Don't get cocky now." Yang gets up and shrinks the arena size with a barrier closing the space to only 10 feet in diameter in a straight line.
"Narrowing my space with a barrier and forcing me to move in one direction eh not bad but I'm ending this now. Winter art: Dancing snowfall slash." Glacier grabs his sword running at Yang.
"Then I will respond in kind. Lunar art: Full moon shadow dance." Yang traces a circle with his fan before leaping forward colliding with Glacier head on resulting in a large explosion.
"My my I didn't expect you to do this well young Glacier but you still have a ways to go." Yin says as the smoke clears showing Glacier on the ground with Yang still standing with 3 slashes across his chest.
Glacier gets up his wounds healing due to his natural regeneration the same as Yang.
"You've grown significantly these past few thousand years to the point of even capable of injuring us but not severely eventually the two of us will fight you at the same time you ready for that eventual day?" Yin asks jumping down.
"Of course he knows brother but lets go and get something to eat." Yang says fixing his clothing and changes to a casual outfit of a white hoodie and black jeans.
"So let me guess you guys want to go out instead of forcing me to cook again." Glacier asks dusting himself off.
"Given your current state yes so come on." Yang says dragging Glacier away.
The three all enter a portal to a universe known for good food and enter a restaurant on that universes' earth.
"Hello table for 3 please." Yang asks a cat maid and they bring them to their table and leaves menus.
Once the group put their order in they discuss about future training.
"Has anyone told you two how scary you are with a pair of metal fans?" Glacier jokes.
"Other than your constant whining no I can't say."
"Well I have a right I've yet to beat either of you in the past 5000 years."
"That just means we are growing along side you. You just have to catch up and overtake us but it seems that won't be happening for a while."
"So what should we do about future training eventually the two of us will have to fight due to your growth and outside of us you have almost no combat experience."
"We try to simulate what it would be like by going with intent to kill but eventually you will get used to us as we get used to you." Yin says gulping down their cup of water.
"Does this universe have a guild by any chance hunting monsters could be a good side job and experience." Yang suggests.
"That would be fun and there is a guild here why else would they serve monster meat." Glacier says just as the food arrives.
"Here's your food stewed thunder tiger, whole wind rabbit with a mushroom filling, and wood smoked earth ogre." The maid delivers their food at the same time refilling the empty glasses.
"Thank you." The trio says.
"Please enjoy." The maid bows before turning to leave only to bump into someone.
"Hey there missy I see that you served them first instead of us when you know we are rank B adventurers." A pretty muscular and large lion says as two other felines join a black panther and a white leopard.
"I'm sorry but its restaurant policy to serve those who come first you came later than these three fine gentleman your food will be out shortly so I must ask you let me return to work." The maid says with a hint of anger and annoyance.
The lion slaps the maid knocking them to the floor. "You should know better than to disobey your superior." The lion repeatedly kicks at the maid demanding an apology.
"Such barbaric methods not to mention right at the dinner table. I won't tolerate it." Glacier says getting up.
"Oh the runt thinks he can take us. You should know that a no rank like you stands no chance against us who have defeated the likes of an ogre king." The black panther brags.
Yin and Yang also gets up but Glacier stops them sensing Glacier's blood lust.
"Should I be impressed? The three of you beating a mere ogre king? Please I fight against dragons daily." Glacier says closing his eyes which only ticks the felines off more.
"Don't be ridiculous even heroes struggle against those S+ disasters a kid like you fighting them would be like a fairy tale and records would prove it but seeing you have no guild ID that only confirms my suspicions." The lion shouts as he brings a sword onto Glacier's head only for the blade to shatter on impact.
"I've had enough of your bragging of your supposed strength take a look around." Glacier says and the felines listen and see everyone cowering in fear.
"You don't even notice my blood lust and anger which just shows you're nothing but meatheads who don't know when they've poked the dragons tail!" Glacier punches all three of them in the guts sending them out of the door which Yin had opened.
Glacier and Yin go back to sitting at their table before the restaurant goes back to normal.
"Come forth soothing light and grant your warm relief onto this soul high heal." Glacier casts a healing spell over the maid which restores her body.
"I thank you those three have been constantly harassing guild staff and others we can't thank you enough." The maid bows and thanks the trio.
"Don't worry I'm not a fan of idiots nor those without table manners." Glacier says cutting into the rabbit.
"However your statement of fighting dragons. Is that true because if so I have to report it o the guild along with this incident." The maid asks and Glacier motions for her to sit.
"Yes it is I fight these two daily in fact we just came from a training session." Glacier says pointing at the two next to him.
"But they don't look like dragons in fact they look like lizardmen." The maid says which causes Yin and Yang to chuckle.
"They are dragons and despite their looks as a young child or teen they're stronger than even I."
"So you're telling me you're on a S+ hero level!?" The maid shouts as everyone looks at their direction.
"I assume you're aware of other worlds yes. We come from another world so we unfortunately don't know the power standard here." Yang says.
"Well let me explain in the guild we rank monsters on a ranking from F- to A+. We rank them based on several factors the major being their magic energy level, population and reproductive rate, and intelligence. However in the event of a calamity level monster one capable of destroying countries with ease we rank as S- S and S+ dragons needless to say fall in the S+ believed to be gods of this world by some." The maid explains.
"And whats the problem with me fighting dragons then?" Glacier asks.
"Dragons are known to be destructive and doing what they feel like no matter how many A rank adventures it can never stand to a dragon even if they evolved into saints the rank below heroes it won't be enough. Only saints who have shattered the limits of power can awaken into a enlightened hero and stand up to dragons. In other words the fact you just mentioned fighting dragons means you will be called upon for help." The maid practically shouting at Glacier's face.
"Help against what specifically?" Yin asks finishing his tiger stew.
"Against dragons when they rampage, demons, demon lords and whatever the guild might need help with that require the power of an enlightened hero."
"But you do realize these two are dragons yes shouldn't that be sparking problems now since you say dragons are S+?"
"Well seeing as they aren't causing harm and you said you can handle them gives everyone some sense of relief. So to wrap this conversation up. I ask of you to please come and register to the guild as an adventurer."
"Well Yin Yang what do you think?"
"Why not its good real combat and experience." Yang says.
"And its a good way to pass time." Yin says
"Wait Yin and Yang? As in the guardian dragons?!" The maid shouts.
"Wait is she serious you two." Glacier asks turning to the two of them who only sigh.
"Very well we will register can you take us there?" Glacier asks while grabbing the two dragons by their horns.
"Uh sure let me handle this first." The maid takes the finished plates back to the kitchen before returning.
The group of four leave not before Glacier paying and leaving a generous tip of a 100 gold coins.
The maid guides them to a medieval style cabin and escorts them in.
"Raya why are you here shouldn't you be working?" A black and white cat asks from behind the desk.
"Well Dia I've come to report an incident as well as have these three register as high rank adventurers."
"Huh you're telling me a lycanthrope and a duo of lizardmen want to be high rank adventurers when they didn't register before hand?" Dia shouts.
"Hey you two mind removing your disguise spell now?" Glacier asks as Yin and Yang release their draconic energy.
Everyone in the building feels a massive crushing force of energy before it disappears.
"They're DRAGONS?" Dia shouts.
"Yes specifically they're the twin guardian dragons and as for the lycanthrope apparently he can fight them on equal terms more or less." Raya says.
"Wait this small wolf that looks like a puppy can fight the legendary guardian dragons who are even stronger than normal dragons are you kidding me?" Dia shouts as adventurers come to investigate.
"I'm a folf thank you very much."
"Is that supposed to be any different?"
"A folf is a hybrid of a fox and wolf I posses traits of both if you must know."
"What's this ruckus about." A large lion comes down from the stairs.
"Oh guild master we have some unusual adventurers requesting to register as high ranks." Dia says explaining the situation.
"So you're telling me that those two are dragons and this folf wishes to register as high ranking adventurers. Normally they would have to work their way up but seeing their strength its acceptable for the dragons." The guild master declares as staff bring Yin and Yang to the back to begin the registering process.
"As for you unfortunately you will have to prove that you're on a hero's level come to the back." The lion says walking outside as Glacier the crowd and the staff follow.
"So who's my opponent then will it be you guild master?" Glacier asks gripping his swords handle.
"Summon magic, demon summoning. Come forth and show your worth by defeating this foe." The guild master casts a summoning spell and instantly the spell causes the world to darken and red lightning to strike the circle.
From the magic circle a black winged demon wearing a suit rises his eyes black as night but with pupils as crimson as blood.
"A greater demon but even an A- rank should be able to handle one so why?." Commotion breaks out between the crowd before Glacier draws his sword and silences everyone with his aura.
"You're no greater demon you're an arch demon aren't you and an especially old one at that." Glacier gets into a defensive stance and the demon appluads.
"I'm impressed you saw through my disguise but that means you're all the more dangerous. My name is Sebes a former demon lord from the ancient era." The demon says which makes everyone except Glacier and the guild master pale with fear.
"Sebes as in the awakened demon lord Sebes who once brought the world to an end out of boredom. The one demon lord who fought 3 dragons and stale mated them. That Sebes!?" One adventurer shouts making everyone even more pale.
"That's wrong that spell is meant to summon a demon that would be a good match to the opponent I expected an arch demon at least from the renaissance era 500 years ago but from the ancient era over 500 million years ago?!?!?!" The guild master yells in disbelief.
"I've introduced myself now what about you?" Sebes asks Glacier his fingers turning to long black claws.
"My name is Glacier the guardian of life and order." Glacier states as he lunges forward narrowly missing Sebes.
"Dear me that was close I haven't felt that scared in a long time." Sebes dust himself off before snapping and a pillar of fire engulfs Glacier.
"-100 degrees." The fire pillar disappears as Glacier is covered in a thin layer of frost as he charges in and slashes Sebes.
Sebes manages to block with his claws but looses two of them in the clash.
"Not bad you could be good training but in terms of power you're below me." Glacier states as his sword freezes over.
"Quite confident aren't you lets see if those words have any power behind them." Sebes launches a nuclear level spell at Glacier who promptly freezes the explosion.
"My my that's quite dangerous especially around others I can't really afford anyone dying here due to stray spells." Glacier jokes as he creates 5 large ice dragons.
"Then lets take flight." Sebes spreads his bat like wings and flies off into the distance as Glacier promptly follows.
The two clash in the sky shockwaves coming from every strike they connect as well as massive spells.
"Come forth snowstorm obstructing blizzard." Glacier summons a raging blizzard that hides his form as the snow hits Sebes like daggers.
"Burn all that in my way hell's inferno." Sebes summons a massive pillar of fire that handles the blizzard as well as burning Glacier quite badly on his left half of his body.
"Impressive you sacrificed your left arm and the left of your chest to guard against me most impressive. But considering you survived even this spell I'll end it with my next move." Sebes dispels the fire pillar as the sky darkens.
"Lets see how you fare against the power of hell. You who have died tortured revived and died again lend me your souls and your screams. Fill the realm with your screams of terror and fear let it sink in to every part of your body. From this I beseech those damned souls to lend a hand lend an ear and their very existence. For the demons own amusement joy and pleasure." A massive iron like door descends from the dark sky where a massive dragon skeleton is wrapped around it the skull being the very top of the door.
"I curse the living the dead the nothingness and beyond and from that I grant you this death of infinite screams. The howling pits of hell welcomes you to join its ranks. All hallows night." The door opens as a set of 6 eyes are seen and chains shoot out and ensnare Glacier wrapping themselves all over his body before dragging him inside and the door seals shut.
"Enjoy the torture for the next few million years my blue friend." Sebes chuckles before a massive explosion happens behind him knocking him away.
Sebes turns to face the gateway only to see a massive hole in the door.
"Most impressive for a demon like yourself however nothing can stop my fire to fight!" Glacier's voice shouts from behind the door as it freezes over.
"Entering subzero temperatures 0 kelvin combined with spacial magic allows me to freeze any space I want provided I have the magic to do so that took over half my magic gotta say it was almost looking bad." Glacier says as he breaks the door from the otherside and enters back into that plane of existence with scars and wounds all over his body.
"Having said that such a spell like that I imagine requires a long casting time as well as sacrifices not to mention the chants you added on normally wouldn't work on someone who is moving fast I commend you on your magic skill but this ends with the next move Sebes." Glacier says as he sheaths his swords .
"Don't get cocky now boy the fight has yet to begin." Sebes prepares another magic circle but before he launches it Glacier has slipped past his senses and points his sword at Sebes' throat.
"Impossible did he just?"
"Checkmate Sebes you loose." Glacier sheaths his sword as the magic circle disappear. Glacier teleports the two of them back to the others as he sheathes his swords.
"How did you do that it wasn't just speed that got past me so tell me."
"I froze time temporarily at most it was only a few seconds but it was enough."
"You froze time as well as space but that power is only available to the highest beings. Wait you said your name was Glacier and you are the guardian of life and order that's how you introduced yourself correct? Are you an actual guardian!?" Sebes asks shocked after piercing the information together.
"Correct I am a member of the primordial guardian race or should I say I'm the last surviving member." Glacier says as Sebes freezes in place.
"My lord please forgive my actions I raised my hand against you." Sebes kneels and everyone is shocked.
"What the what are you doing?" Glacier asks in a panic embarrassed like state.
"A lowly demon like me who were created from your kind raising their hand at you that is an unforgivable sin." Sebes says which only fuels the confusion.
"You're forgiven don't worry with the death of my people you won't have to fear getting executed just live on like that never happened alright?" Glacier suggests lifting Sebes up.
"The moon is shining once again..." A voice fills the air.
"Rage and rampage give the insects their punishment they deserve." Another voice says before Glacier is knocked unconscious by a figure who looks exactly like Glacier except for the crimson red and black fur.
"Greetings everyone my name is Crimson and now say goodbye to your pitiful life." Crimson touches Glacier and he disappears fusing with Glacier and transforming his body into his own.
Crimson now using Glacier's body sends a massive fire ball killing half of the crowd before turning to Sebes who was about to fire off a nuke level spell only to be frozen in place.
"Disappear from this world honorable demon. Inferno blaze" Crimson blasts a small spark of fire before it quickly expands engulfing Sebes and the surrounding area burning everything away.
"Enough no more destruction will be permitted." Yin and Yang appear slicing Crimson with their fans before chaining and restraining him.
"My my the worms have come out to play shame that a bird was waiting for them though!" Crimson burns the chains and gut punches Yin burning his insides before doing the same to Yang.
"Pitiful isn't it you two can soundly beat Glacier yet against me you're nothing but insignificant worms." Crimson grins as he launches nuke level explosions at Yin and Yang who try and evade but that only results in distant cities and towns swallowed up in flames.
"He's using Glacier's body as some form of anchor is it like a demon gaining material form when someone performs a summon?" Yin asks as he dodges the explosions with difficulty due to the internal organs being severely damaged.
"If that's the case we just need to do enough physical and spiritual damage to break his bond brother you know the combo I'm talking about quick." Yang teleports the three of them into a white void.
"So you brought me to a void to launch your attack go ahead you will learn despair soon enough. Kf-fu-fu-fu-fu." Crimson chuckles in amusement.
Yin and Yang both assume their dragon forms and open their maws as they both charge a beam at Crimson.
"Light art spirit warder."
"Shade art destruction of light."
The two blasts combine into one and hits Crimson shaking the entire void as the two return to their normal form.
"Did we get him?" Yang asks exhausted.
"Maybe that combo move is strong enough to shake an entire multiverse surely that did it." Yin pants out holding his chest.
"A valiant effort I must admit." Crimson claps as the smoke clears away.
"However you two lack the strength to oppose me only one being does."
"Who then if not us!?"
"Calm down brother he's just riling us up."
"The only one who can oppose me of course is someone you know both quite well and know nothing about. Glacier the guardian of life and order the last surviving member of the guardian race." Crimson declares as it confuses Yin and Yang.
"I guess I should explain everything from the top. Remember my name well as I hate repeating things. My name is Crimson. I am the other half of Glacier's being and his twin brother." Crimson says which Yin and Yang are shocked into silence.
The revelation shocks Yin and Yang so much they hang their jaws open for over 5 minutes.
"If you're a guardian too why did you cause so much destruction those innocent lives in all those towns you blew up how can you!?" Yang shouts angry and bringing his fan down only to be blocked by a sword.
"You have the intelligence of a worm as well it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. The guardians were sworn to protect creation from harm and so my decision is to render all life gone so we can start anew."
"Quit joking as if we would allow that and neither would he. If you are indeed his brother then he will never accept you since you are the opposite of him." Yin fires a black flame that envelops Crimson in a black vortex of black fire.
"Black fire how lovely but still not good enough." Crimson gathers the flames into one point before he places that fire into his sword and the flame disappears.
"Consume all those in my way creeping darkness take root and surrender their soul." Yin's eyes turn completely black as the white void turns black and tendrils and arms reach out and grab hold of Crimson.
"The dark? What do you take me for a baby?" Crimson's body erupts into fire burning the shadows grabbing hold of Yin and forcefully nullifies Yin's spell.
"Be swallowed by my flame and burn to ash before the ash burns into nothing." Crimson stabs his sword into the ground causing a funnel of fire to engulf Yin. Yin finds himself unable to move as the fire vortex burns him before Crimson delivers a kick to Yin's lungs causing him to be knocked out.
Crimson then turns to face Yang who now bears an angry face.
"You are an evil that must be extinguished no matter who you are guardian or not!" Yang gathers his magic into his fan and launches arc after arc of light at Crimson.
"Evil? Don't categorize me with those that are evil when you know nothing of me. What I'm doing is saving this damned world from those who antagonize and interfere with things they shouldn't. My dream of burning everything to prevent that sure to you that sounds cruel and wrong. But to me I see it as a gardener burning all the weeds that plague creation and I find that good." Crimson draws his sword and swats the magic arcs aside.
"You have no right Yang. But likewise I can categorize you into the amateur group did you honestly think you had a chance against me? Did ever experience the things I did? The atrocities I saw? The reality of this damned world. Don't over value yourself otherwise you will get yourself killed." Crimson engulfs his sword in blood red fire as he raises his sword up high.
"Amateur? Don't you go insulting me." Yang draws a circle with his fan as it spreads out duplicating itself over and over.
"Shine brightly O heavenly light, sparkling holy lance." From the hundreds of magic circles comes a volley of golden lances as they fly toward Crimson at an alarming speed.
"Swallow everything into your firey blaze. And return back what you once had. Cataclysm nova." Crimson swings his sword down causing a shockwave from the force blowing all the golden lances away. Once he brought his sword down he brings it back up and a heat wave engulfs Yang burning him severely as he falls to his knees.
"My purpose is simple to protect what I have to protect anything and anyone in my way will be cut down and burnt into ashes. That is my sole purpose as a guardian and especially as Glacier's brother. No more... No more."
Crimson charges up another fire ball but his fur suddenly begins to turn blue again.
"Times up eh guess time flows faster here well this is acceptable at least you three didn't have to deal with that corrupt world. Hero's fighting monsters and dragons yeah right you pathetic humans. You resorted to manipulating beastmen into believing the monsters were antagonizing them and then made beastmen allies of humans against the monsters who can evolve into beastmen how vile how disgusting. Hunting and ravaging monsters even forcing others from other worlds to do it how criminal. And whats more you three never noticed thats even more disgusting. Its pitiful but then again eventually you brother will learn the art of seeing through every shadow. As a final parting gift brother I will give you this." A moon shaped blue mark appears on Crimson's abdomen. Its a midnight blue circle with a small bit of sky blue on the left edge that will slowly form the phases of the moon as the dark blue changes over time going from covering the whole mark up or the mark being completely sky blue.
"Until we meet face to face my dear younger brother..." Eventually Crimson gives up control and he turns back into Glacier who collapses from exhaustion.
