In Yunmag Jiang sect, Yu Ziyuan find out that someone saw her daughter, which breaks all the patience she was keeping, she's depressed and worried about her daughter, cos she's also a mother, she's now furious to know her daughter location.

She left her place and started flying towards Gusu Lan clan, it's 4-5 hour ride.

Once she reaches Lan Clan, she rushed towards Weiying Seclusion, Jidian was sparkling in her fingers, enough to show how angry and furious she's right now.

After seeing Madam Yu, disciples try to stop madam Yu, but they were also scared of madam Yu anger, so they rushed towards Lan Qiren quarter's to inform him.

...

Lan Qiren, Lan Xichen and many other elders rushed there, not by running but by taking rapid steps.

'Wei Wuxian! Where's A-Li!?' strike!!!

'I don't know... I really don't know... Trust me...' Weiying said while crying in pain.

'TELL ME WHERE'S MY DAUGHTER! WHERE DO YOU KEEP HER!?' strike!!! madam YU continue to beat him, with Jidian...

Weiying curled up his body brings his legs near him and hide his head with his arms, making himself smaller, he was continuously crying, but no one was hearing his sobbing there.

And soon he can't hear any sound, Lan Xichen was trying to stop her, but she's wasn't listening to anyone, Wangji was outside the sect, and he's supposed to come back tomorrow.

Wangji pov.

I don't understand what's going on but sometimes is missing, something is wrong...

...

The deep feeling of lose is settled in his heart giving chill to his core.

He's nervous and anxious, but uncertain of the reason what for, imagine the things is not a habit of Wangji, but today his mind is running miles per second.

He is feeling agitation for no reason or for some reason, it's quite similar to the one, he felt when he lost his mother, It's almost evening, Wangji can no longer calm down himself, so, he ordered all the disciples to assemble the things as they're going back in the clan.

All the disciples were shocked hearing such statement, but they can't be unsubmissive, so, they packed the things, even after knowing gates are about to close and they won't get permission to enter.

They obediently followed the Hanguang-Jun order, and dispatch towards the clan.

At 11 pm they all reached the clan, and greeted by guards, but barrier was already standing high to stop them and only with the permission they can enter, but Wangji don't care, he's breaking his own clan rules, by stepping inside using Jade token leaving all the disciples with him outside.

...

He stepped inside the clan, and went towards his brother's quarter "Hanshi".

He started knocking the door, and door was immediately opened by Lan Xichen, cos he wasn't sleepy, even after its past curfew, his brother is awake, which makes Wangji more worried.

'Brother! Are you okay!?' Wangji sounds anxieties and his brother noticed that, but he's also frightened to inform his little brother what happened, but Wangji was not in the state to notice that, and Xichen wasn't in the state to explain it.

Lan Xichen pov.

I wasn't failed to notice that how you're bothered by Master Wei presence and how much you started liking it, but not realising it.

...

'Wangji let's go to Uncle quarters, he will probably explain you the situation better.' Xichen said and dragged him towards Lan Qiren quaters...

---

**Wangji's POV**

I don't understand what's happening, but something feels off. The deep sense of loss settles in my heart like a chilling weight. I'm nervous and anxious for reasons I can't quite grasp. My mind races—thoughts spiraling out of control—reminding me of the time I lost my mother.

As evening approached and my agitation grew unbearable, I ordered all disciples to gather their things; we were returning to the clan. Their shock was palpable, but they complied without question, packing up even though they knew the gates would soon close.

They followed my orders obediently as we set off toward the clan.

At 11 PM, we arrived and were greeted by guards at the entrance. The barrier stood tall against us; entry required permission. But I didn't care—I broke clan rules by stepping inside with my jade token, leaving the disciples behind.

---

I made my way toward my brother's quarters—Hanshi—and knocked urgently on the door. It swung open immediately; Lan Xichen stood there, wide-eyed and alert despite it being past curfew.

"Brother! Are you okay?" My voice trembled with anxiety.

Xichen noticed my distress but hesitated to share what had happened. He didn't have time to explain; I was too fraught with worry.

"Wangji, let's go to Uncle's quarters. He can explain everything better," Xichen urged, pulling me along toward Lan Qiren's chambers.

---

**Lan Xichen's POV**

I couldn't help but notice how much Wangji had been affected by Master Wei's presence lately. His feelings were becoming increasingly evident, even if he didn't realize it himself.

As we hurried through the halls, I felt a mix of dread and urgency; whatever was happening with Wei Wuxian was serious—and it was time for Wangji to learn the truth.

---

Xichen knocked on the door, and Wangji stood silently, staring at it. The door creaked open with a soft "kerr," revealing Lan Qiren, who appeared slightly shocked to see Wangji there, though his face showed no concern or fear.

"Wangji! Xichen, come inside. How come Wangji is here? Isn't he supposed to arrive tomorrow afternoon? I didn't know my youngest nephew was bold enough to break the rules," Qiren remarked, but Xichen quickly interrupted.

"Uncle!"

"Xichen, are you admitting that Wangji hasn't broken any rules?" Qiren replied in a monotone voice.

Xichen clenched his fists. "I think this matter is more important for Wangji to know. Then we can discuss his punishment for this act."

Wangji felt a swirl of emotions-anger, worry, confusion, and anxiety-making him feel nauseous. He remained silent, simply staring at his uncle and brother.

"So, Yu Ziyuan was here this morning. She's currently staying in the guest quarters, and we've informed Sect Leader Jiang about this as well. She came here furious and broke many of our sect rules, which is indeed concerning. She directed her anger at Wei Wuxian, who is currently with the healers. We will discuss this further when Jiang Fengmian arrives."

Wangji's disbelief was palpable; he had no words. He closed his eyes and clenched his hands so tightly that his knuckles turned white. The other hand gripped his sword instinctively. Xichen noticed but said nothing.

Without another word, Wangji stood up and headed toward the healer's pavilion. His uncle tried to stop him, but Xichen was quicker and grabbed Qiren's arm to restrain him.

---

**Lan Xichen's POV**

I couldn't ignore how much Wangji had been affected by Master Wei's presence lately. He seemed to be developing feelings for him without even realizing it.

"Wangji, let's go to Uncle's quarters; he will probably explain the situation better," I suggested, leading him toward Lan Qiren's chambers.

As we walked, I felt the weight of the situation pressing down on both of us. I knew Wangji was anxious and confused; it was time for him to learn the truth about what had transpired with Wei Wuxian-and perhaps even confront his own feelings in the process.

Add internal monologue and sensory details along with character development in the paragraph below.

Xichen knocked the door and Wangji was just staring at the door, the door dragged opened with a Kerr sound, and Qiren comes outside.

'Wangji!' Qiren was slightly shocked after seeing Wangji there, but there's no expression of concern or fear on his face.

'Wangji, Xichen come inside, how come Wangji is here? Isn't he supposed to come tomorrow afternoon, I don't know my youngest nephew is bold enough to break the rules.' Qiren said and Xichen stopped him 'Uncle!'

'Xichen are you admitting that Wangji haven't broke any rules?' Qiren said in a monochromatic tone.

Xichen clinches his fists and said 'I think this matter is more important for Wangji to know, then we will discuss Wangji punishment for this act.'

Wangji was angry, worried, confused, anxious at same time, he's in the turmoil of emotions within him, making him feel nauseous. Without saying a single word he just stared at his uncle and brother.

'So, Yu Ziyuan was here in the morning, currently she's staying in the guest quarters and we informed Sect. Leader Jiang about this too, she came here furious and broke many of our sect rule, which is indeed a matter of concern, and she just put her angry on that "Wei Wuxian", he's currently with the healers and we will discuss more about this when Jiang Fengmian come here.'

Wangji looked at his uncle with a huge disbelieve, he has absolutely no words, he closed his eyes and clinches his hand so tight that his nikale turn white with his grip and the other hand grips his sward, Xichen noticed but said nothing.

Wangji stand up and went towards the healer pavilion, his uncle tried to stopped him but Xichen was quicker and grab his uncle arm and stopped him...

Xichen knocked on the door, the sound echoing in the stillness of the air, as if it were a herald of impending chaos. Wangji stood frozen, his heart racing in his chest, each beat a reminder of the tension that hung thick around them. The door creaked open with a drawn-out *kerr*, revealing Qiren, whose expression was a mask of surprise that quickly settled into something more neutral—almost dismissive.

"Wangji!" Qiren exclaimed, his voice laced with an incredulous edge. The shock in his eyes was fleeting, replaced by an unsettling calm that sent a shiver down Wangji's spine. **What was he hiding?** Wangji's mind raced, thoughts colliding like storm clouds.

"Wangji, Xichen, come inside. How come Wangji is here? Isn't he supposed to come tomorrow afternoon? I don't know my youngest nephew is bold enough to break the rules." Qiren's words were sharp, slicing through the air with an authority that felt suffocating.

"Uncle!" Xichen interjected, his voice firm yet tinged with urgency.

"Xichen, are you admitting that Wangji hasn't broken any rules?" Qiren replied in a tone so flat it could have been chiseled from stone.

Wangji clenched his fists at his sides, knuckles whitening as he fought against the tide of emotions threatening to drown him—anger simmered just beneath the surface, while worry twisted in his gut like a coiled serpent. **This isn't how it was supposed to be.** The nausea rose within him, a bitter taste flooding his mouth as he struggled to maintain his composure. He remained silent, merely staring at his uncle and brother, desperate for answers yet paralyzed by confusion.

"So, Yu Ziyuan was here in the morning," Qiren continued, oblivious to Wangji's turmoil. "Currently she's staying in the guest quarters and we informed Sect Leader Jiang about this too. She came here furious and broke many of our sect rules, which is indeed a matter of concern. And she just unleashed her anger on that 'Wei Wuxian.' He's currently with the healers, and we will discuss more about this when Jiang Fengmian arrives."

Wangji's heart plummeted at the mention of Wei Wuxian's name; disbelief washed over him like ice water. **How could this happen?** He felt as though the ground had shifted beneath him. Closing his eyes tightly, he tried to steady himself against the rising tide of panic; he gripped his sword with one hand while the other tightened into a fist so hard that it felt as if it might shatter under its own pressure.

Xichen noticed Wangji's struggle but said nothing; instead, he watched silently as Wangji wrestled with his emotions. The air felt heavy with unspoken words and unresolved tensions.

With a sudden surge of determination, Wangji stood up and moved toward the healer pavilion, each step fueled by urgency and dread. His uncle reached out to stop him, but Xichen was quicker—he grabbed Qiren's arm firmly but gently, holding him back as if sensing that Wangji needed this moment alone to confront whatever awaited him ahead.

---

Wangji entered the pavilion and was immediately struck by the sight of Weiying lying lifeless on the bed. His skin was extremely pale, and red and blue scars marred his body, visible through the bandages wrapped around him.

As he approached, the healers greeted him, but Wangji didn't acknowledge them.

"His condition is critical," the head healer explained. "There are many wounds from spiritual weapons that are difficult to suppress. We managed to stop the bleeding and stitch them, but he has suffered significant blood loss. He's malnourished and underweight—he hasn't taken any of the medicine I provided last time, leaving a pouch behind. He only took what he could without water. His state isn't good; we can't say whether he will pull through. It seems he has already given up hope."

"You can stay," the healer continued, "but I'll take a round of the pavilion to check on other patients. If you need anything, call for me." With that, he left.

Wangji remained fixated on Weiying, his heart aching at the sight of him in such a fragile state. After a moment of hesitation, he reached out and grasped Weiying's hand tightly, begging him to wake up and say something. He murmured soft words of encouragement, but silence filled the room.

As the clock struck 1 AM, Wangji finally broke the stillness. "Weiying, Wei Wuxian, I don't know how to process everything that's happened between us. Our situation hasn't been ideal; I know that. But you never told me why you're unhappy or let me help you. I can see it in your face—you're not content to be married to me. But despite everything, I'm happy to have you here.

Whenever I look at your pale face, it feels like I'm gazing at the moon—a sight that brings me comfort in my loneliness. You make me feel complete.

I've always been able to push through pain and control my emotions, but seeing you in pain suffocates me. I can't describe how it feels right now; all I know is that I don't like this. I want you beside me forever. I love you and will always love you. Please wake up..."
