(Main Protagonist's Pov)
The monster had managed to struck me hard with it's claws but it was still not enough to inflict any damage on me. I hit the monster back with my sword, forcing it backwards direction. I maintained my balance quickly afterwards.
*Rooaar*
It looked more angrier than before now.
"Finish it, Elena!"
"Yes!"
Elena launched another huge light projectile and struck the monster. The monster was incapable to stand up again. Chloe gave the last blow to the monster, using wind cuts.
The monster is dead now because of her last blow.
"For a second, I thought this monster would not go down but we have managed to defeat it quickly." said Chloe.
It certainly was not coincidence because I, without letting anyone know, struck the monster with a little bit more strength to finish it quickly.
"But I thought the monster had much endurance though..." said Elena.
