After reminding Rosario that he still needed to summon his remaining citizens Tormund and Rosario put out the already dying fire and began to walk towards the Gate. On the way Tormund gave Rosario some advice.
"I am not sure what kind of races will come out of that portal, but you should know that just because you have summoned citizens does not mean they will be loyal to you, me included."
Making sure he met Rosarios eyes with his as he gave Rosario a warning. "Asura's and Diva's always had their strongest leading their clans. Currently you shouldn't have an issue with anyone following your orders as since you haven't learned to restrain your natural aura it is quite obvious you are much stronger then anyone who you will summon. We all start at Evolution 0, level 0 and even though you are the same, the aura of power you give off is that of someone at the peak of level 10 and about to evolve for the first time."
Rosario looked forward and focused on the ground as they continued to walk the last yards to the Summoning gate. Upon reaching it he took out the leather satchel from his necklace and pulled the 9 vellum pieces out of the satchel before redepositing it away.
Taking a deep breath and facing Tormund, Rosario let it out slowly.
"Any other last-minute advice before I summon more citizens?"
"Yes. From now on you are a Noble of the collective and you need to act like one. That means you have to accept that you will be called Master or My Lord as a formality. Most summons will look on you with a good light as because of you they have a second chance. However, if you act as you do with me, towards them some will take advantage of you. It is better they think of you as above them and unattainable strength wise than someone they might be able to compete with. As of right now I will not be acting so cordial around you any more instead I will act as though you have made me an advisor.
Seeing that Rosario looked like he wanted to protest the second part of his statement, Tormund cut him off with a wave of his hand.
"This is not negotiable; you will govern thousands in the future and need to begin to learn this now. In private we can be informal but in public we need to have decorum."
Resigning to the fact that Tormund was right and at least happy that Tormund would drop the formalities in private, Rosario smiled under the mask and slapped Tormund's shoulder as he approached the Gate.
"Lets meet our new citizens then, shall we."
(POV Change)
She regained consciousness just as her body stepped through a portal into the afternoon sun. In front of her 8 people of different races knelt before a tall, well-built masked man with a glowing gray skin and white hair, she was unsure of what race he belonged too. Another person, this one definitely an Asura, stood behind the masked man's right shoulder a few feet behind his as an advisor would. Her heart fell as she realized she had become a summon for a noble of the Collective, and looking around at the barren land surrounding them, it was definitely a new noble.
Approaching the line of summons she made eye contact with the masked noble, the Velvet and Gold eyes stared back at her unflinchingly and as she got closer she could feel his aura was currently much stronger than hers. Feeling the power of the masked man a smirk played across her lips as she walked up next to the last kneeling Asura and knelt herself greeting the man in front of her.
"Ivana Goldblade greets her new Lord."
(POV End)
Rosario heard Ivana as she gave her title and name and he felt Tormund tense up. Sensing something was wrong Rosario looked around and found Tormund seemed very tense for some reason.
Looking forward again Rosario addressed his 9 new summons.
"You may stand, I know you all have said your names once already but please go down the line stepping forward and giving me your name, occupation, and what you remember of your life."
Rosario looked at Tormund and pulled out a pencil and paper and asked him to take notes. Tormund whispering back told Rosario that all citizens have systems also and he can use a note pad in his system.
Nodding Rosario put the paper away and looked at the First person he had summoned giving them his full attention. The person who was summoned from the White Vellum stepped forward.
He was very short only around 4 feet tall (122 cm) but was really stocky. The man couldn't be too old as he had a baby face that hadn't seemed to fully mature yet. He was all around average on looks with earthen brown hair and Hazel eyes. He had a rounded face with his hair pulled back in a ponytail, everything about the guy screamed Dwarven descent. "My Lord, my name is Havresh Dawnhammer I am a blacksmith. I apologizes but I do not remember much about my life prior."
Frowning Rosario glanced back at Tormund who just shrugged. Rolling his eyes at seeing how both him and Tormund were confused Rosario was about to respond when an angelic voice called out.
"My Lord, those who were less powerful in their previous lives will not remember much."
Rosarios head snapped to the opposite end of the line where he saw his last summon step forward. Glancing at the young man who moved back in line Rosario made his way over to the woman. As he walked he did his best to keep his eyes on her face as woman he was walking towards was the living definition of a cougar.
She had long muscular legs that led into tight and toned hips and ass. Her stomach was flat, and her chest stood out firmly as if she was pushing them out for him to see. The V-neck she was dressed in did not help anyone who tried keeping their eyes on her angelic face. Her forearms and biceps were well defined with sinewy muscle showing she was no stranger to hard work. Her hair was long and flowed behind her to just over her butt. Its Golden sheen almost shimmered in the sunlight. Her face was beautiful with a mature charm. Ignoring all this Rosario walked to Infront of her and standing only a couple feet away looked into her ice blue eyes. He had to tilt his head down as he towered over her diminutive 5'4" (162.6 cm) frame.
His voice echoed in the silent breeze that blew around them.
"Continue."
Breaking eye contact with a nod Ivana continued speaking. "As I said earlier my Lord, my name is Ivana Goldblade, I was one of the Monarchs of the Diva's. When I was alive I met a lot of people one of the things I learned and seems to be one of the few things I remember is that the more powerful a summon was in their previous life the more memories they will bring with them into this new one. If the young man down there cannot remember anything then he most likely was not above the 4th evolution."
Rosario looked back at Tormund. "What evolution where you when you passed?"
Tormund responded. "Evo 3, Level 23."
Turning back to Ivana, Rosario gestured at Tormund. "How come he remembers a lot?"
"I am assuming he was your first summon Lord?" Seeing Rosario nod, she continued. "As your first summon he is given a little more leeway than the rest of your summons so as to help you as Lord make good choices."
"And what about you, what do you remember?"
"I remember I was the Matriarch of the Divas. I died while fighting against the Asura Patriarch. However, I do remember snippets of my previous life, though the feelings related to those memories feel almost suppressed. There is some information that comes to mind though as topics are mentioned."
"Such as when Havresh mentioned he couldn't remember much?"
Ivana nodded her head. "Yes, like that."
"Mhm. Thank you Ivana. Before I move to the next person do you have any skills or the like that you remember?"
"I am an expert level archer and know how to run a clan."
Nodding Rosario gestured for her to step back and motioned for the hulking form next to her to step forward. He tried keeping his calm, but he was definitely geeking out, before him stood a 7-foot-tall (213.36cm) Minotaur. Rosario was still half a foot taller than the Giant Minotaur, but he was definitely not as muscular.
The minotaur standing before Rosario was the spitting image of the Earths mythological creature. It stood on two powerful legs and had a bovine's lower half that was covered by a leather type of pants. Its upper body was bare showing it possessed the upper body of a human. The minotaur's head that towered over the other summons was that of a bulls. Stepping forward it spoke in a deep powerful voice.
"I am Bolog, War Chief of the Cranton Hordes. I know battle my Lord, point me in our enemy's direction and they will be no more."
"For now, we don't have any enemies Bolog but I am sure we will in due time, thank you. You wouldn't happen to remember much from your previous life would you?"
"I do not remember much outside of battles."
Nodding Rosario moved on.
