Stalin awoke. Weird. Seconds ago he could swore he was already conscious, then he woke up a second time, it was a weird experience, but it didn't really matter right now.
He was sitting upright, next to a small stone structure of what he assumed was an altar. A small notepad lay on the bowl of the altar. He hesitantly took the pad and started reading from it.
"To the revolutionary, I yearn to be entertained by your reach over this world."
He flipped through the pages, there was basic information about this world.
This world was comprised of 5 continents. Aichtend (Ayh-tend), Tiega (Ti-ye-ga) Ramat (Rai-mat) Lahterk (Laterghk) and lastly Remon (Re-mon).
Stalin could recognise some parallels to his world. For one, Laterhk was a smaller continent when compared to Remon. The 2 continent shared a land border and were primarily divided by a mountain range. Just like the Ural Mountains that divided Asia and Europe in his world.
However, where Africa normally was, it was replaced with Tiega. A number of island chains that hint at an underwater continent. The size of each chain of island was reminiscent of Dutch-East India (*1)
Ramat was a continent that also happened to border Remon, to it's East. There wasn't any parallel to this continent as it was originally an ocean in his previous life.
Aichtend was a large continent, seperated from the other continents. It was basically a large rectangle, with a few imperfections and islands off it's coast. It has a large lake in the middle being comprised freshwater and "divine" holy water.
Stalin saw the X on the notepad indicating he was currently in Eastern Laterhk. The next page over was a map showing the coumtries of each country. Laterhk's terrain and biomes also resembled Europe's. There was a mountain range that seperated a peninsula from Laterhk, A northern land which comprised the coastal territories of a copy of scandinavia.
There were 4 main superpowers. The Feytish Kingdom, an island nation controlling the island around them as well as coastal areas across the sea. The Weldish Empire, controlling the South West of Laterhk. The Central area was a broken up land of barons and counties. Between the Central, and the East, there was a buffer nation ruled by a Western Raiken Kingdom which served to protect the Central lands from the Eastern Raiken Empire.
Stalin was about to flip the page over to the map of Remon, before he heard a clunking sound along the grass.
A horse, it had chainmail strapped to it's side, lacking protection on it's front. (2*) On the horse sat a man in a green uniform.
Behind him, followed what was seemingly an armored escort. 8 knights covering all sides of a luxurious carriage.
'Disgusting. The aristocracy commands it's power over the workers.'
From the carriage, entered out a shining ray of light. The light was so blinding it nearly burnt his retina out. He could only make out a female figure in a gown and a staff. Next to the woman, there was clanking and shuffling like a medieval knight they show in Western movies.
The light eventually dimmed, Stalin could make out the light source as the staff the woman was holding, her blonde locks closely resembling the light shade.
The Knight took his helmet off, he resembled the woman and seemed like her brother, Stalin's line of thought was suddenly interrupted by the woman.
"State your name."
"…"
"Joseph."
"Your full name."
…
"Joseph Stalin."
"That's not your real name is it? No one would have the last name 'Man of Steel.' Unless you were an idiot."
Stalin seemed a little offended. Before answering back.
"Joseph Dzugashvilli." (3*)
"Much better, that last name sounds Kreon. Are you from the Kalkas Region?" (Kreo is Georgia and Kalkas is the Caucas.)
"Yes."
"Answer me with, Yes your nobleness."
His stomach churned. He'd rather die a fool's death than bow down to an aristocrat, an arrogant one at that.
"Answer me now!" The woman scremt, her previous stoic expression now turning to one of disgust. "Peasants like you shouldn't be in such a beautiful land!"
Before he could react, Stalin could feel himself being lifted up by the staff's magic. "Recieve your punishment!" She sends him back slamming towards a tree and injuring Stalin.
However, the woman's expression was distraught, her brother, who had been spectating, was confused to her sister's reaction.
"Wha-… How… How could you be the Hero!"
(1*) Dutch East India was the name of Indonesia while It remained a Dutch Colony.
(2*) Horses were protected on the side because Cavalry was meant to attack a soldier's flank. Meaning it's head would be out of range, and it's body the main target.
(3*) Stalin's real name. He took on the name of Stalin (Man of Steel) because he saw himself as a man who could stand tall without faltering.
