Chapter 188 - Mystake

As the dust settled, Arjuna steadied his grip on his bow, ready to unleash another devastating shot, while Karna prepared his own lethal strike. The tension crackled in the air, their eyes locked in fierce determination to end this once and for all.

Suddenly, a powerful gust of wind erupted from the battlefield, shaking the ground beneath their feet. Both warriors paused, their battle momentarily forgotten as they turned to witness the ongoing clash between Duryodhana and Bhima.

Arjuna's brow furrowed in concern as he called out, "Bhima!"

Karna narrowed his eyes, recognizing his own ally in the chaos. "Duryodhana!"

In unison, they exclaimed, "How have both of you not killed each other by this point?"

The two warriors exchanged incredulous glances before redirecting their focus back to the fierce battle before them. Duryodhana and Bhima were locked in a brutal struggle, each blow exchanged echoing like thunder across the battlefield.

Duryodhana, fueled by the determination of a leader, swung his mace with devastating force, aiming for Bhima's head. "You think you can defeat me, Bhima? I will not fall here!"

Bhima grunted, deflecting the blow with his own colossal strength, the impact sending shockwaves through the ground. "You will not win this battle, Duryodhana! This ends today!"

The two warriors continued their relentless fight, oblivious to the world around them, their rage fueling a tempest of energy.

Arjuna sighed, frustration creeping into his voice. "We can't let this go on any longer! If they continue, they'll destroy everything."

Karna nodded, his expression serious. "We must intervene. This fight is becoming a distraction we cannot afford."

With newfound resolve, both brothers turned away from their confrontation and began to move towards the raging battle of their allies. Their paths intertwined once again as they charged forward, prepared to put an end to the chaos surrounding them.

"Together, brother!" Arjuna shouted, his voice ringing with determination.

"Together," Karna replied, the bond between them reignited as they rushed towards the tumultuous fight.

As they approached, Duryodhana and Bhima exchanged a flurry of blows, neither willing to yield. The ground beneath them trembled as Bhima lifted his massive weapon, preparing for a crushing blow, while Duryodhana summoned every ounce of strength to counter it.

"Enough!" Arjuna called out, his voice booming across the battlefield, demanding attention.

"Stand down!" Karna added, his tone commanding as he joined his brother's side.

The chaotic clash of fists and fury paused as the two pairs of brothers faced each other, the tension palpable in the air.

Would the Kauravas and the Pandavas find common ground, or would their enmity

"Arjuna, Bhima!"

Arjuna and Bhima turned their heads in shock to see Ritsuka lying down, his new appearance striking them both speechless. His long red hair flowed like a fiery cascade, and the majestic wings folded at his back made him look otherworldly.

Bhima broke the silence first. "Okay, you look good with long red hair."

Arjuna raised an eyebrow, smirking at his brother. "And there's the dumbness of Bhima. Since when were you a dragon-human hybrid?"

Ritsuka shrugged nonchalantly, his wings stretching slightly. "Long story. Just know that Vikaran, Chitrasena, and Shakuni are dead."

Duryodhana, disbelief etched on his face, struggled to process the news. "What? No, it can't be! My brother is dead... I've lost!"

Ritsuka met his gaze, a calm authority in his voice. "Yes, you have lost. Give up and allow me to send this Lostbelt to space. Also, Chitrasena told me to give you this."

With that, Ritsuka tossed a shimmering Limbo Cube toward Duryodhana. The Kaurava leader caught it, a sinister grin spreading across his face as he inspected the object.

Meanwhile, deep within the Kauravas' castle, Limbo found himself abruptly punched and sent flying, landing before Pepe, who had transformed into his angelic form.

"What does the cube do?" Pepe inquired, curiosity glinting in his eyes.

Limbo's grin widened, the madness evident in his tone. "Why, you'll see!"

Back on the battlefield, Duryodhana clutched the cube tightly, recalling Limbo's cryptic words. With a surge of desperation, he slammed the cube to the ground, unleashing a massive blast of energy that radiated outwards.

"Yes! With this, we—" Duryodhana's triumphant declaration cut off as he felt his body being pulled into the cube's gravitational force. Realization dawned on him too late; he had a mystic.

"Karna!" he shouted, but it was too late. Karna attempted to grab him but failed. The cube shot skyward, affixing itself to Karna, and a dark, murky substance began to pour out, reminiscent of the Grail Mud.

In an instant, Ritsuka activated his shadow pocket, pulling in Kama, Arjuna, Bhima, Kadoc, Anastasia, Mash, Ophelia, Aozaki, Pepe, and his three servants. From the dimensional rift, a chorus of anguished screams echoed.

When they emerged, the Fantasy Tree was gone, leaving behind a barren landscape. Shoulders slumped, people, animals, everything that had once thrived in this Lostbelt had vanished. The sun cast a strange light upon the desolate ground, and then they turned their gaze to Karna.

Karna's appearance had dramatically changed; his hair had turned white, his skin darkened slightly as though infused with shadows, and his eyes glowed an unsettling yellow. A cold, detached look replaced the fierce warrior they once knew.

"What just happened?" Kadoc asked, horror creeping into his voice.

Kama's voice trembled as she replied, "Whatever happened… Karna has changed. He's giving off… no, it can't be! It's impossible for him to absorb all the Indian gods in such a short time unless… the cube."

Karna turned his gaze toward Ritsuka, one eye glowing ominously.

Seeing this, Bhima instinctively pushed Ritsuka aside. In that fleeting moment, Bhima was there, and then in the next, only his spear-mace remained, destroyed and scorched as if a great fire had consumed him, smoke billowing from the remnants.

Ritsuka's heart sank as an icy dread filled the air. "Bhima just died?"

Karna's presence loomed larger, his expression void of emotion, as the silence of the battlefield echoed the gravity of their loss. Ritsuka clenched his fists, determination igniting within him.

"We will not let this end here," he vowed, stepping forward. "I will avenge you, Bhima! Karna, this isn't you!"

The remaining warriors stood ready, the weight of their fallen comrade heavy on their shoulders. The battlefield was set for a confrontation that would echo through time, a struggle against the very fabric of the Lostbelt itself.

Suddenly, Ritsuka's Chaldea watch projected a holographic screen, revealing the frantic faces of Dr. Romani, Da Vinci, Ayaka, and a few other Chaldea staff members. Their expressions were grim, a stark contrast to the ongoing battle.

Ritsuka's brow furrowed as he observed their distress. "What is wrong?"

Dr. Romani's voice trembled through the hologram, "W-w-w-we did a scan on Karna and... um..."

Goredolf's hologram cut in, panic evident in his tone. "Run for your life!"

The urgency in their voices sent a chill down Ritsuka's spine. "What do you mean? What's happening to him?"

Da Vinci, adjusting her glasses nervously, spoke up. "His body has undergone a drastic change. The cube seems to have triggered a transformation—Karna is absorbing powers beyond his own. We fear he's becoming something more than just a servant."

Ayaka chimed in, her voice shaking slightly, "He's channeling the essences of the Indian gods! We don't know how long he can maintain this form, but the longer he does, the more dangerous he becomes."

Ritsuka clenched his fists, the weight of the situation pressing down on him. "How dangerous?"

Goredolf answered, his tone grave, "If Karna stabilizes this form, he could become an unstoppable force—capable of annihilating anything in his path, including us."

Arjuna, still in shock from Bhima's disappearance, turned towards Ritsuka. "We can't let this happen! We have to stop him before he fully transforms!"

Kama nodded, her expression fierce. "Agreed. We need to act fast!"

Ritsuka took a deep breath, weighing his options. "I'll summon my Umbrel summons army. We need all the strength we can muster. But first, we need to hold him off until we can find a way to sever his connection to that cube."

He glanced at Arjuna and Kama. "Are you both ready to fight?"

Arjuna readied his bow, determination replacing his earlier shock. "Always."

Kama grinned, a spark of her goddess power igniting in her hands. "Let's show him the true power of the good guys!"

As they prepared for battle, the air crackled with energy, a tense calm settling over the group. They turned to face Karna, who stood ominously, his new form radiating power.

The fight for their lives—and the fate of the Lostbelt—was about to begin.

Ritsuka looked at Arjuna. "If what I am feairng is correct, Arjuna now"

Arjuna was ready to sue his noble phantasm ending Karna in one attack, If karna had become a God, then this was there best shot.

Arjuna was ready to speak. "This is t-

Before he could his arm was cut of, as he saw Karna, as Arjuna looked at Ritsuka as he knew it was now or never he then started to transfer something to Ritsuka as Ritsuka but it was not fast enough Arjuna head was then cut of, it was not fully done what ever Arjuna was doing was enough, Ritsuka then saw Ajuna body turning into sprite particle.

Ritsuka's eyes widened in horror as he processed the brutal scene unfolding before him. "Arjuna, no!" he shouted, desperation in his voice.

Arjuna, despite losing an arm, managed to stabilize himself. "Ritsuka!" he called out, his voice strained but resolute. "If what I'm fearing is correct, this is our last chance!" He began channeling his remaining energy into a desperate transfer, intent on empowering Ritsuka.

Karna's gaze shifted to Arjuna, his expression cold and detached. "You think you can save him? I see he was going to kill me with that... And yet he was not fast enough..."

With a swift, merciless motion, Karna severed Arjuna's head from his body. Ritsuka's heart sank as he watched Arjuna's form begin to disintegrate into shimmering particle sprites, a testament to his noble sacrifice.

"Karna!" Ritsuka roared, his voice echoing with anger and grief. "You'll pay for this!"

With a sudden surge of power, Ritsuka called forth his Umbrel summons army, shadows pooling around him as dark figures began to emerge, ready to fight. But even as they formed, Ritsuka felt the weight of despair. Arjuna had sacrificed himself for a chance—now it was his turn to make that sacrifice count.

Karna stepped forward, his aura now suffused with divine energy, eyes glowing with a terrifying intensity. "Is this your army? How pathetic. They stand no chance against me now."

Ritsuka gritted his teeth, gripping his weapon tighter. "They may not, but I will not let you have this victory! I will avenge Arjuna!" He raised his hand, summoning forth the dark tendrils of his Umbrel summons. They swirled around him, ready to obey his command.

"Arise!" he shouted, the shadows responding to his call as they surged toward Karna, each shadow a fierce warrior in its own right.

Karna prepared for the onslaught, his expression unfazed. "Foolish boy. You think numbers can defeat a god?"

As the army of shadows clashed with Karna, Ritsuka felt the loss of Arjuna weighing heavily on him, fueling his resolve. He had to harness all his powers—the Mystic Eyes of Death, the Umbrel summons, and the strength of his allies—to stand a chance.

"Kama!" Ritsuka shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos. "We need to work together to bring him down!"

Kama nodded, her eyes burning with determination. "Let's do it, Ritsuka! For Arjuna!"

Together, they combined their efforts, launching a coordinated assault on Karna, hoping to exploit any weakness in his newfound power. The air crackled with energy as they fought, each attack echoing with the memory of their fallen comrade.

Ritsuka summoned even more Umbrel summons, their dark forms swirling around him, ready to face the overwhelming power of Karna. As the shadows surged forward, Ritsuka focused his Mystic Eyes, unleashing a devastating wave of energy that cut through the entire army with a single glance, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

Karna watched Ritsuka with a mixture of disdain and amusement. "A dragon trying to fight a god? This is your folly," he sneered, preparing to unleash his own devastating attack.

Kadoc stood beside Ritsuka, a determined look on his face. "Yeah, well, this dragon has some tricks up his sleeve," he retorted, bracing himself. "Infinite Ice!"

As Kadoc activated his transformation, a chilling aura surrounded him, ice forming into lethal weapons ready to be launched at Karna. The battlefield was engulfed in a frigid mist as he prepared to strike.

Ophelia stepped forward, her presence radiating power. "Break Drive!" she called out, activating her own transformation, her energy pulsing with an intensity that crackled in the air around her.

Mash, ever steadfast, gripped her shield tightly and announced, "Mode Shift!" Her form shimmered as she drew on her Noble Phantasm's power, becoming an even more formidable warrior ready to face Karna.

Pepe, channeling his angelic power, transformed dramatically. "Angel Shift!" He exclaimed, wings of light erupting from his back, illuminating the dark battlefield with a heavenly glow. His aura surged, ready to bring divine judgment upon their foe.

Ritsuka felt the collective power of his allies surrounding him, each of them transformed and ready to fight. "Together!" he shouted, rallying them for a coordinated assault.

With renewed determination, the group launched their attacks simultaneously. Kadoc unleashed a barrage of ice projectiles aimed directly at Karna, while Ophelia and Mash moved in sync, their abilities complementing one another as they struck from different angles.

Ritsuka called forth his shadows, directing them to flank Karna, creating chaos around the god as he struggled to fend off the onslaught. "Now! While he's distracted!" Ritsuka shouted, his voice cutting through the clamor of battle.

Karna, realizing he was being overwhelmed, attempted to counter with his own abilities. "Vasavi Shakti!" he roared, summoning a beam of divine energy to retaliate against the combined assault. But Ritsuka was ready.

With a focused glare, Ritsuka unleashed his Mystic Eyes again, channeling the shadows into a massive wave of energy that clashed with Karna's attack, creating an explosion that sent shockwaves through the battlefield.

The ground trembled beneath them as the two powers collided, the air thick with tension and energy. "You think this will defeat me?" Karna growled, his eyes flashing with anger.

Ritsuka stood firm, the spirits of his allies strengthening his resolve. "It's not just about defeating you, Karna. It's about ending this Lostbelt and avenging our fallen friends!"

As the smoke cleared, Ritsuka could see Karna stagger slightly, the divine aura around him flickering. The moment of weakness was fleeting, but it was enough to spark a glimmer of hope in Ritsuka's heart.

"We can't let up! Keep attacking!" he commanded, and his allies pushed forward, their combined strength creating an unrelenting tide against Karna. Each member of Ritsuka's team fought with everything they had, channeling their will and their grief into a final stand against the god who had taken so much from them.

"Let's finish this together!" Ritsuka shouted, leading the charge, determination etched on his face. The battle raged on, a clash of wills and powers, as they sought to reclaim the light from the encroaching darkness.
