Ritsuka was sleeping, as he did he had returned back to the void he looker around and wishlist, as then he saw them the Alien God and Draco
Ritsuka stood in the void, his breath steady as he faced the Alien God and Draco. Their expressions were unreadable yet complex, a mixture of emotions that unsettled him. He could sense the shift in their demeanor. Draco's voice echoed in the vast emptiness, cutting through the silence like a blade.
"You are changing."
Ritsuka remained silent for a moment, his gaze fixed on Draco. The weight of the statement hung in the air, and for a second, he wondered if it was a warning or a simple observation. His memories of the fight with Dushasana, the power surging through him, the way he had unleashed that devastating attack—everything seemed to confirm Draco's words. Something inside him had indeed begun to shift.
"I know," Ritsuka finally replied, his voice calm but laced with unease. "I can feel it too. The power I've been drawing on... it's becoming harder to control. Every time I use it, I feel like I'm slipping further away from what I was."
The Alien God took a step forward, their presence both commanding and ethereal. They spoke in a voice that seemed to resonate with the void itself. "You are becoming something new, something beyond human. The path you walk now is one that could reshape the fate of not only the Lostbelts but the very foundation of Proper Human History."
Ritsuka clenched his fists. "Is that what you want? For me to become... whatever this is?"
Draco smiled faintly, almost sympathetically. "It's not about what we want. It's about what you're becoming. You've always been more than just a human, Ritsuka. You've danced on the edge of godhood, played with powers mortals were never meant to touch. Now, those powers are changing you."
Ritsuka's brow furrowed. "And what does that mean for me? For the people I'm trying to protect? Am I supposed to just let this happen, let myself become something I don't even understand?"
The Alien God raised a hand, as if to calm his rising frustration. "You are not without agency, Ritsuka. The power is a tool, but how you wield it—how you let it shape you—remains your choice. But understand this: the more you tap into that power, the further you drift from your humanity."
Draco's eyes sparkled with something between mischief and admiration. "But isn't that exciting? To become something more than human? To transcend the limitations of your mortal form?"
Ritsuka glared at him. "Exciting? You think losing what makes me human is exciting?"
Draco's grin widened. "I never said it was a good thing. But power—true power—always comes at a cost. The question is, are you willing to pay it?"
Ritsuka looked down at his hands, remembering the sensation of absorbing the sun's energy, of wielding destructive forces that could rival even the gods. He had always thought of himself as the last bastion of humanity, the one who would carry its hope forward. But now, that very power threatened to strip him of the very thing that made him who he was.
"I don't know if I'm willing to pay that price," Ritsuka said softly, almost to himself.
The Alien God's voice was gentle, but firm. "You are at a crossroads. One path leads to unimaginable strength, but at the cost of your humanity. The other... may keep you grounded, but it may also leave you powerless to face the challenges ahead."
Ritsuka clenched his jaw, frustration bubbling inside him. "There has to be another way. I can't just choose between losing myself or losing everything else."
Draco chuckled, the sound echoing eerily in the void. "Perhaps, Ritsuka. Or perhaps this is the price of becoming a saviour, the weight of the choices that only a hero can make."
The Alien God nodded. "Time will reveal your path. But remember, once you cross certain thresholds, there may be no going back."
Ritsuka felt the weight of their words pressing down on him, the enormity of what lay ahead sinking in. He didn't want to lose himself, but he also couldn't afford to be weak. Too many people were counting on him.
As the void began to blur around him, signalling the end of the dream, Ritsuka took one last look at the Alien God and Draco.
"I'll find my own path," he declared, his voice steady. "I won't become what you want me to be. I'll find a way to protect everyone without losing who I am."
Draco's grin faded into a contemplative smile. "We'll see, Ritsuka. We'll see."
Ritsuka then looked at them. "So what am I God, Human, Dragon, or a beast of humanity like you two"
The Alien God looked at him as she took the form of Olga again. "In all honesty I don't even know, and then there is sword you have and the crystal fused to your arm, what are you dragon, god, human".
Ritsuka stared at the Alien God, who had now taken the form of Olga, her voice carrying a tone of genuine uncertainty. The question echoed in his mind—what was he now? The power flowing through him, the sword forged from something beyond his understanding, and the crystal fused to his arm—all these things only added to the confusion.
"I don't even know anymore," he admitted, his voice low. "Every battle, every Lostbelt, I keep changing, gaining powers that don't feel like they belong to me. First, I thought it was just the Sun Magecraft, then the Ten Shadows, then the beast blood... but now?"
Olga, or the Alien God in her form, stepped closer, her eyes searching his face. "You're a mixture of so many things, Ritsuka. You were once human, but you've touched the realms of gods, beasts, and dragons. The sword you wield, the crystal in your arm—they are remnants of powers far beyond mortal comprehension. Even I cannot tell you what you are."
Ritsuka felt a weight in his chest. "And yet, I'm still supposed to be the one who saves everyone. How can I do that if I don't even know what I've become?"
Draco, who had been silent for a moment, stepped forward with a smirk. "Why does it matter? Does a title or category define you? Whether you're a god, dragon, or beast of humanity, you still have the same goal, right? Protecting those you care about. Isn't that enough?"
Ritsuka clenched his fists. "It should be, but this power... every time I use it, I feel less like myself. What if, one day, I lose control? What if I become something worse than what I'm fighting?"
Olga's eyes softened. "That's the risk you face, Ritsuka. Every time you wield power beyond human comprehension, you walk closer to the edge of something unknown. But... that's also what makes you unique. You don't just accept the power; you question it. You fight to remain yourself, even when everything tries to pull you in different directions."
Draco chuckled darkly. "Honestly, Ritsuka, you might already be something else entirely. But who says that has to be a bad thing?"
Ritsuka sighed, feeling the weight of their words. He looked down at his arm, where the crystal pulsed faintly, a reminder of the unknown forces coursing through his body. He touched the hilt of his sword, feeling its ancient power thrumming beneath his fingertips.
"I'll figure it out," he said quietly, more to himself than anyone else. "I have to. For my own sake and for everyone counting on me."
Olga nodded. "That's all you can do. Keep moving forward, keep fighting. In time, you'll find your answer."
Ritsuka looked up at her, determination flickering in his eyes. "Maybe. But until then, I'll hold on to whatever pieces of my humanity I have left."
Draco's smirk faded into a more thoughtful expression. "Just don't let it hold you back, Ritsuka. Sometimes, to save others, you have to let go of parts of yourself."
The void around them began to ripple again, signaling the end of their conversation. As everything started to fade, Ritsuka locked eyes with Olga one last time.
"I'll find a way to stay true to myself, no matter what," he promised.
The Alien God, now fully in Olga's form, gave him a small, almost sorrowful smile. "I hope you do."
Ritsuka then looked at both of them. "So when will I crack".
Draco just looked at him and a sighed. "What do you think will you snap, we don't think so, and look at this here you are talking to a two beast of humanity, heck you even fuck me"
Ritsuka just looked at her. "Sometimes I wish what happened yesterday was just a wet dream"
Draco smirked at Ritsuka's comment, her eyes flashing with amusement. "Oh, but it wasn't just a dream, darling. You know that as well as I do."
Ritsuka sighed, running a hand through his crimson hair. "Yeah, I know. But sometimes I wish it was. Things have gotten so complicated... between the powers, the fights, and everything else. It'd be nice if some of it was just... simpler."
The Alien God, still in Olga's form, looked between the two, her expression unreadable. "You're standing at the edge of so many conflicting forces, Ritsuka. Power, love, and your very identity. But that's what makes you who you are—the ability to stand in the middle of it all without cracking."
Ritsuka's gaze drifted to the horizon of the void, as if searching for something beyond the swirling chaos that surrounded him. "I've held it together so far, but... how long can I keep doing that? How long before I snap under all this pressure?"
Draco's smirk softened into a rare moment of sincerity. "You've faced worse than this, Ritsuka. You're more than just your power. You're the guy who saved countless lives, who cares enough to question what he's becoming. That's what sets you apart from me and the Alien God here. You haven't lost yourself."
Ritsuka let out a breath, a mixture of frustration and relief. "I hope you're right. Because the last thing I want is to become something I can't control."
The Alien God stepped forward, her voice gentle yet firm. "You won't crack, Ritsuka. Not unless you let go of what makes you human. And from what I've seen, you're holding on tighter than most would in your position."
Ritsuka nodded, though the weight of his thoughts still lingered. "Maybe. But it's not just about holding on anymore... it's about figuring out how to move forward without losing myself."
Draco chuckled softly. "You'll figure it out. You always do. And if you need a reminder of what you are, well... I'll be happy to oblige."
Ritsuka rolled his eyes, though a small smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. "Yeah, I'll keep that in mind."
As the void began to fade once again, Ritsuka glanced at the two beings before him—his strange, powerful companions in this surreal journey.
"Thanks," he said, his voice quieter now, but with a newfound resolve. "For not letting me lose myself."
Draco winked. "Anytime, darling."
And with that, the void dissolved, leaving Ritsuka alone with his thoughts as he returned to the waking world, determined to keep fighting—to stay human, no matter how much power he wielded.
Ritsuka then woke up as he saw the roof is his tent, he walked out and looked at the sun, he just looked at the sun and then he grabbed it almost like he was trying to grab
Mash just looked at him walk out and then saw him doing that. "Um Senpai what are you doing".
Ritsuka blinked, his hand still outstretched toward the sun as if he could physically reach out and grab it. He slowly lowered his hand, turning to look at Mash with a sheepish smile.
"Ah, just... thinking," Ritsuka replied, rubbing the back of his neck. "Guess I got a little lost in my thoughts."
Mash raised an eyebrow, her concern evident. "Senpai, are you okay? You've been acting... different since we arrived in this Lostbelt."
Ritsuka let out a sigh, his eyes drifting back to the sky. "Yeah, I guess you could say that. This place, the powers, the battles... it's all getting to me, Mash. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm even still the same person."
Mash stepped closer, her expression softening. "You're still you, Senpai. No matter what changes or powers you gain, you're still Ritsuka Fujimaru—the person who saved so many lives and always puts others first."
Ritsuka smiled at her words, though his gaze still seemed distant. "I appreciate that, Mash. But what if... what if I'm becoming something else entirely? Something I can't control?"
Mash shook her head firmly. "No. I believe in you, Senpai. We all do. Whatever you're going through, we'll face it together, like we always have."
Ritsuka looked into Mash's eyes, the sincerity of her words grounding him. "Thanks, Mash. I needed that."
As they stood there, the warmth of the sun on their skin, Ritsuka felt a little more centred, even if the questions about his identity still lingered in the back of his mind. But he knew he wasn't alone—and for now, that was enough.
"Come on," Ritsuka said, breaking the silence. "We've got a lot of ground to cover. The others are waiting."
Mash nodded, giving him a determined look. "Right, Senpai."
As they walked back toward the camp, Ritsuka couldn't shake the feeling that his journey was far from over—and that the answers he sought were just on the horizon, waiting for him to grasp them.
