Chapter 162 - Ten Shadow Origen's part 1

As in the campfire of the main group, Ritsuka was cooking, as with him was Kama, Mash and Ophelia, as Aozaki, Rama and Sita were bringing fire woods, as Kadoc and Anastasia had created a bound field, Kadoc then saw rhe diving dogs, both white and black

Kadoc just looked at Ritsuka. "So you told me how you got them, but you never told were these guys came from".

The white wolf spoke. "As we have said, we are from India".

Kadoc just looked at them. "No I mean, what is you guys origins".

Ritsuka though for a bit and summons Mahoraga. "Why don't you tell them Mahoraga".

Mahoraga seat down and looked at the group. "This is going to be a long story ske hope you are ready".

Flash back

As during the time before the Mahabharata, as on mountain was seating no meditating one man, he had silver/white hair, yellow eyes, skin as while as snows, as almost like noting can distract him, before he heard the world

"It has been a while Mahoraga"

Mahoraga opened his eyes to see who it was. "So do you want me to call Lord Shiva or by your current Vassel name Hanuman".

Hanuman, the revered monkey god and loyal devotee of Lord Rama, stood before Mahoraga, his divine presence radiating a calm yet powerful energy. Clad in his usual attire, Hanuman's eyes held a mix of mischief and wisdom as he approached the meditating figure.

"You may call me as you wish, Mahoraga," Hanuman replied, his voice filled with warmth. "But today, I come not as Lord Shiva's vassal, but as a messenger. The winds of change are stirring, and the world is on the brink of a great war—the Mahabharata."

Mahoraga slowly rose to his feet, his imposing figure towering over Hanuman. His expression remained stoic, but there was a hint of curiosity in his gaze. "And what brings you to me? I am but a humble servant of the divine, a guardian of the ancient traditions."

Hanuman's smile widened. "Precisely why I have come to you. The time has come for you to take a more active role in the events that are about to unfold. Your wisdom and power are needed, not just as a guardian but as a guide for those who will shape the future of this world."

Mahoraga folded his arms, considering Hanuman's words. "And what is it that you ask of me?"

Hanuman's tone became more serious. "I ask that you join the ranks of those who will stand against the forces of darkness. The Kauravas, led by Duryodhana, are amassing power, and the Pandavas will need allies of great strength and wisdom. Your mastery over the Ten Shadows and your connection to the ancient magics could tip the balance in this war."

Mahoraga's eyes narrowed slightly. "The Ten Shadows... you speak of my old techniques. They are not to be wielded lightly."

"Indeed," Hanuman nodded. "But in the right hands, they could be a force for great good. The gods have foreseen that this war will shape the destiny of humanity for generations to come. Will you not play your part in ensuring that the light prevails over the darkness?"

For a moment, Mahoraga was silent, his gaze distant as he weighed the gravity of the situation. Then, he nodded. "Very well. I shall lend my strength to this cause. But know this, Hanuman: the path we tread will not be an easy one. The shadows I command are as unforgiving as they are powerful."

Hanuman's smile returned, full of confidence and resolve. "I would expect nothing less from you, Mahoraga. Together, we will ensure that the world remains in balance, even in the face of such chaos."

With that, the two figures, bound by their shared duty to protect the world, stood side by side, ready to face the challenges that lay ahead.

**End Flashback**

As Mahoraga finished recounting the story, the campfire crackled softly in the background. The group around him listened intently, each of them reflecting on the ancient history that now intertwined with their current struggle.

Kadoc, deep in thought, finally spoke up. "So, you were once a part of that legendary conflict, and now you continue to serve in this one... it's humbling to think how these ancient powers and stories still have a role to play in our lives."

Ritsuka nodded, looking at Mahoraga with newfound respect. "We're not just fighting to save the future, but also to honour the past and those who came before us."

Kama, resting her head on Ritsuka's shoulder, smiled softly. "And with allies like Mahoraga, we have a real chance at winning this."

Mahoraga then looked at the. "If only I wish it was as simple as that, but the story is never this simple

Flash back

As two people are fighting, one was holding and arrow and using the powers of the sun, the other was controlling Ten different shadows that barely look like animals, the finger with the arrows was Karna as for one he was fighting was a monster, orange was man before,

Mahoraga looked at Karna. "You can defeat me not with this power, I have from the new gods".

Mahoraga looked different he was no longer a human but a monster as he looked at Karna, what happened to thus man, will it was not plaganed

A few weeks ago it has started Mahoraga was preparing for the war, the war would start in a few years, but he was still traing he looked at the ten of his shadow creators, each of them were onces a Kali (Demon) he had killed and made his own, as he seat down and went to his meditation

As Mahoraga was Mediating, he grabbed his head in pain. "What is this, no this powers what is this".

A voice played in his head. "I see you can make a great body for me poggest".

Mahoraga heard the voice, it was deep and other worldly."who are you Kali, answee me".

The Voice didn't lap it didn't do something. "Call me a god, as for my name Call me the King In Yellow"

Mahoraga's body tensed, his once serene meditation shattered by the sheer force of the voice echoing in his mind. The name "King in Yellow" was unfamiliar to him, yet it carried an ominous weight that made his blood run cold. This was no ordinary Kali or demon; it was something far more ancient, more malevolent.

Mahoraga struggled to maintain control over his mind and body, but the presence of the King in Yellow was overwhelming. His vision blurred, and he felt a darkness creeping into his consciousness, threatening to consume him.

"You dare invade my mind, claiming to be a god?" Mahoraga spat, his voice laced with defiance. "I have slain countless demons and even faced the wrath of the gods themselves. I will not be taken so easily."

But the voice only grew stronger, more insistent. "You underestimate the power I wield, Mahoraga. I am beyond your understanding, beyond the reach of your Ten Shadows. Accept me, and I will grant you strength beyond your wildest dreams. Resist, and you will be destroyed."

Mahoraga gritted his teeth, his resolve unwavering. "I will not be your puppet. I have my own path to follow, and it does not involve becoming a pawn in your twisted game."

The King in Yellow laughed, a cold, cruel sound that echoed through Mahoraga's mind. "You think you have a choice? The moment you heard my voice, your fate was sealed. You will become my vessel, my instrument of chaos in this world."

Mahoraga felt a surge of dark energy course through his veins, threatening to corrupt him from the inside out. His Ten Shadows, once his loyal servants, now twisted and writhed under the influence of the King in Yellow. Their forms became more monstrous, more grotesque, as they began to reflect the malevolence of the entity that sought to control him.

Desperate, Mahoraga reached deep within himself, calling upon the last remnants of his strength. He had to fight back, to resist the overwhelming force that was trying to consume him. But no matter how hard he tried, the darkness continued to spread, corrupting his body and mind.

In a final act of defiance, Mahoraga unleashed all the power he had left, sending a shockwave of energy through the mountain. The ground shook, and the skies darkened as he attempted to purge the influence of the King in Yellow from his soul.

But it was too late.

The dark energy overwhelmed him, and with a final, agonizing scream, Mahoraga's form began to change. His once human features twisted and distorted, turning him into a monstrous being. The Ten Shadows, now fully corrupted, merged with his body, transforming him into a creature of pure darkness and despair.

The King in Yellow's voice echoed through the mountains, triumphant. "You are mine now, Mahoraga. You will serve me, and together we will bring this world to its knees."

As the transformation completed, Mahoraga—now a twisted, monstrous version of his former self—stood before Karna, the hero of the Mahabharata. The light of the sun clashed against the darkness that had consumed Mahoraga, as the two warriors prepared for their fateful battle.

Karna's eyes narrowed as he took in the sight of his opponent. "So, this is what you've become, Mahoraga? A slave to a power you couldn't control?"

Mahoraga's voice was no longer his own, distorted and filled with the malevolence of the King in Yellow. "I am no slave, Karna. I am reborn, and with this power, I will destroy you and anyone else who stands in my way."

Karna raised his bow, the radiant energy of the sun gathering at the tip of his arrow. "I will not let this darkness spread any further. For the sake of the world, and for the memory of the man you once were, I will stop you here and now."

And with that, the two warriors clashed, the forces of light and darkness colliding in a battle that would determine the fate of the world.

Karna went to the air as he sent blast if fire, he then sent arrows after arrows if anything he was trying to kill at least to save everyone, right now he was attack alone, as he he grabbed the sattaled of the his chariot, as his house moved and moved as he kept hitting Mahoraga, as he then started to burn but then he saw something, the karma wheel in his head spinning, as Mahoraga stopped like his body had just adapted Mahoraga the jumped lipting up in the air, seeing this Karna tryed to move his Chariot but it didn't moves

Karna just looked his chariot wheel was stuck. "No not no, not this battle, the curse it has to be this battle".

His faces as grabbed and slammed to the ground sending Karna flying, luckily thank to his gift Karna has survived as he got up and pulled his bow as he saw the raging bull he tryed to hit with his arrows but the arrows were now bouching of, as Mahoraga ten Shadow srounded, him and just like that his second curse activated, his skill of the bow was forgotten

Karna just looked at what will be his death. "I see this is where I die".

Before that a been of light hit and picked up to the heaven, as he close his eyes before he opens as then he saw who had pulled his, it was sun god Surya his father with him was Surya two wife's, and his children.

Surya went I his demi god son. "Karna what happened and who was that".

Karna, still reeling from the sudden onslaught and the shock of his two curses activating in succession, looked at his father, Surya, with a mixture of relief and sorrow. He was grateful to be pulled from the battlefield, but the knowledge that he had failed to stop Mahoraga weighed heavily on him.

Karna took a deep breath, steadying himself before speaking. "Father, that was Mahoraga, but he is no longer the man we once knew. Something... something far more sinister has taken control of him. He called it the King in Yellow, an entity that has corrupted his body and mind, turning him into a monster."

Surya's radiant face darkened with concern as he listened. His wives, Saranyu and Chhaya, stood beside him, their expressions equally troubled. His children, the Ashvins, twin gods of health and medicine, exchanged a glance, already understanding the gravity of the situation.

"Mahoraga was a great warrior, a defender of Dharma," Surya said, his voice filled with sorrow. "But to fall under the influence of such a malevolent force... it is a tragedy beyond words."

Karna nodded, his eyes filled with determination. "I tried to stop him, Father. I used all the power at my disposal, but it wasn't enough. My chariot wheel was stuck, and my skills with the bow were stripped away by the curse. If not for your intervention, I would have been slain by his hand."

Surya placed a comforting hand on Karna's shoulder. "You fought valiantly, my son. No one could have foreseen such a powerful entity corrupting Mahoraga. This is not a failure of yours, but a sign that this King in Yellow poses a threat beyond our understanding."

Saranyu, with her gentle eyes, spoke softly. "We must find a way to defeat this entity. If it can corrupt a warrior as strong as Mahoraga, it could spread its influence further, threatening the very balance of the world."

The Ashvins stepped forward, their voices in unison. "We will do everything in our power to heal those affected by this corruption. But first, we must understand the nature of this King in Yellow and how to counteract its influence."

Surya looked at his son, his eyes filled with both pride and worry. "Karna, you have fought many battles, but this will be the greatest challenge you have ever faced. You must prepare yourself, not just with weapons, but with knowledge and allies who can stand by your side."

Karna nodded, feeling the weight of his father's words. "I will do whatever it takes, Father. I won't let this darkness spread any further. But first, I must return to the battlefield. There are still those who need my help, and I cannot abandon them now."

Surya smiled, a proud and radiant smile. "You are truly my son, Karna. Go, and may the light of the sun guide you in your quest."

With that, Karna was gently lowered back to the earth, the warmth of his father's presence still lingering around him. He knew the battle ahead would be unlike any he had faced before, but with the support of his divine family and his unwavering determination, he was ready to confront the darkness and reclaim the honor of those who had fallen.
